Who are you and what have you done with Liquid? I like the ad Fourth! Now I want to collect all 200! I'm regretting not getting 2 more. It would be cool to have one of each headsculpt. The first thing I'm going to do is take these all apart and start trying different combos. In fact, the Lulu folks can save some time and just throw 4 bodies , 4 heads and 8 arms in a bag and ship them to me. Super fun idea and priced low enough to make having a bunch fun and affordable.
Thanks guys! That Flying Lotus track was a random pick, but it seem to work well with the monsters. Ah man, that would have been great to just ship misc arms, heads and bodies, and you put your own monster together! Either way, Luke is a machine! Killing it with these guys! I hope he does another run with 200 HP one-offs!
Wow! Just goes to show you don't need artificially low production #s to make a successful toy. Though I am a BIT surprised these sold out that quickly. But at that price point, it's not all that surprising. Also, I like the fact that I'm getting a FF-sized toy for less than most suppository-sized toys go for! Go Luke! You're rocking it! Thanks for making it about the toys again!
A big assumption but I think just the pre-order for this is sold out. I don't think all 200 were up for preorder because they were taking a bunch of these down to comic-con. Pretty fun stuff and excited to see which one I get.
Curses!!! I can't believe these are sold out. I sure hope it is just the pre-order. I had placed an order over the weekend when they were just posted, but something went awry and it wasn't processed, and I still haven't heard back from Amy as to the problem. If someone is picking up extra, please let me know.
Man - it's been a long time since I've been this excited about a toy. All those guys look really good with paint! I don't know why I was resistant to them at first - but the first photos shown didn't do a lot for me. Even now, looking back through the thread the pictures on page one just leave me kinda meh. But then the Monster picture really grabs me on page 2. And then by the time we get to plastichunter's picture I love Ojisan and Karakuri too.
I was going to mention that but wasn't sure of SB protocol on such issues. Lotteries and auctions, no, pre-sales, yes?
Mm, I don't know if there's a rule set in stone, alot of people mention lotteries before or while they're going on, especially with Nag and Zollmen. Some people don't like it, some appreciate the heads up. Auctions are a no. if something is in a store, I don't think it's a big deal. I'd say just use your best judgement. I saw the release on toybot, so figured it was already out there.
WOW - these all look like awesome fun to paint! Think I'll have to grab one (or a couple) at Superfest in September - maybe new parts by then!
