I just got a box from Celga, and I am in smoggy heaven. I'll take a Hedorah family portrait with the rest of my collection once I get the Detolf set up, but here is today's haul. A Wonderfest M1Go GID Hedorah. Apparently to get this you have to win some carnival game they have at their booth. I'm glad this flipper was lucky. Side Front and the obligatory shot in a comic store bathroom GID photo. I also picked up a couple of the HUGE CCP "Battle Damaged" Hedorahs. I had no idea how big these were. Here is the blacklight version I've been dying to get my hands on. I can't wait to turn some crazy black lights on this one. and here is the equally nifty red one Finally I got this really awesome one from Atelier G-1. I don't know if it came this way, or if someone made and painted it, but it's killer. Now if I figure out how to get the tail on I'll be happy. Any tips?
Those all rule. I love the G-1 Hedorahs, especially the milky white one they did a while back. The detail on those are amazing.
The ring toose one kills! Isaac won one, but I think he gave it to Brian. Is the rainbow one painted or is it actually different colored vinyl?
Yeah, I almost died when he said he gave it away, but I think he almost died when I told him how much I paid for one. The G-1 one is painted. The parts that are blue and green were a plain white base for sure.
Oh man - kick fucking ass! I've been meaning to pick up one of those CCP Hedorahs for a while...just haven't gotten around to it. And the G-1 is killer! I would love to get one of those...the white one might be my favorite - wish I had bought it when I saw one for sale.
Hah, I love the descriptive text Atelier added to the box: "Hedorah - Giant Sludge - Grown Up Form" Collecting all these toys, I don't ever want to reach my "grown up form" !! As for attaching the tail - gently warm up just the base of the tail with a hair dryer on medium heat, should soften it enough to wiggle it into the body.
