So both you & Coma are from NM? Maybe we could trade vinyl for green chile? (I used to live there & sure miss that as part of my daily routine. Frontier still have western style hash browns?)
Did someone say GREEN CHILLI Its the one thing I miss so fricken much!!!! when I go back to CO its all I eat.
I have to say, I lived in Roswell, and my sister-in-law lived in ABQ. It's seriously wild west living (complete with western influenced, gang banging shoot outs) Not a day went by where I didn't see cars with their back windows shot out. I was also robbed at knife point several times, and had a pistol pulled on me in my own home, I might ad, by a man that had just killed his best friend of 23 years. My famous line/Blog Post was "Say what you will of the big city crackhead, but they've never tried to rob me. Since I moved to NM I've been robbed 2 times, by people trying to get ice in the desert." I will say this, the scenery was breathtaking, and if you had money, life could be grand. If you made any less money than the average middle class, dirt floors were in your future. I had a live changing experience in the desert, within walking distance of a friends trailer, It was in the mountains, in a cave that was blessed by a priest, and filled with relics, and photo's from families looking to take part in the blessings. Unfortunately my camera's (digital, and film) and laptop, along with back up hardrives, and c.d. booklets, of years worth of photography, were all stolen from my house, by people looking for a way to get their preferred fix. I'd still like to check out that comic book store in ABQ. I might have my brother in law stop there, when he goes back to visit family this Christmas.
Welcome to the board, BTW. I'm the resident self centered dick... Hope you find what your looking for, and make some friends along the way.
Do you not have any kinda filter between your brain and typing hand that says . . . people might not give a fuck! . . . .and welcome voodoobell!
