Looks like TRUE burned, but they were talking to the tall dude that owns Peoples Cafe and he was talking about the water and mess as they punched holes in his ceiling. You guys will prob smell smoke and hopefully none of the water made it under the wall? Let us know.
Sounds pretty bad. Hopefully everything will be ok. I hope True is not too damaged also. Everything was perfect when we left at 7pm yesterday. Do you know at what hour did it happen?
The TV report was remarkably uninformative, but I believe they indicated the fire dept was there around 5 am, so before then?
Talk about your close calls. While I am happy that Super7 was spared any obvious damage, it is extremely unfortunate for both True and People's Cafe. Even with full insurance, these kind of incidents are very tough for businesses to come back from.
i hope everything turns out well for the other shops that got hit in the fire its a shame when awful things like that happen
Wow. I can't believe Super7 was in between that fire sandwich and got away unscathed. Glad to hear the store is okay. I hope for a speedy recovery from both Peoples and True.
haha. seriously. I was there today. fucked up. Feel bad for those guys. It wasn't actually an S7 fire sandwich. It was the True store on the left and the peoples cafe next door... then Super 7. there is another True store to the right of S7 that wasn't affected. worse, they don't know how the fire started yet. Was it electrical problem at True or papers on top of a heater at People's Cafe? Fingers pointed in every direction. Insurance Companies calling each other.
True has two spots. If you face Super7, to the right is True's shoe shop. To the left is People's Cafe. To the left of that is True apparel.
Sad for True and People's Cafe - they will be out of commission at least 9 months, probably longer. Glad that it did not make it to Super7 though!
