I predict this ending: Walter kills gang and Jesse dies in the shootout. Flash forward 10 years. Teenage Brock comes and kills Walter, execution style.
Still lovin' the way this ending is going . . . and i was very happy to see Robert Forster cast as the shady 'new identity' guy. He's perfect for that kinda 'no flies on him' role . . . just like in Jackie Brown when he played the bail bondsman. I was listening to Greg Proop's podcast last night and he mentioned this news story about a Scottish bakery selling 'Breaking Bad Crystal Meth Cupcakes'. http://www.delish.com/food/recalls-revi ... gow-bakery http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/201 ... ch_to.html "We absolutely do not condone the use of drugs. Breaking Bad is such a huge, cult hit and this was simply us jumping on that bandwagon and making something that would appeal to fans of the show."
Well one bit of good news on the BB front, last night I got an email from Apple saying I've been refunded 22.99 for part 2 on the final season. While I clearly knew going into this second half I'd be paying again, its nice that enough people complained about the wording/ double dip for a refund. Unfortunately it can only go towards a future iTunes purchase. I never buy anything on iTunes except WD and BB! Wonder if I can just hold onto this till Game of Thrones comes back? Is that available season pass wise on iTunes?
Huel, Skinny Pete and Badger are revealed as the true crime king pins, kill everyone, spend the rest of their days sleeping in money getting high. The end.
I'm still hoping, probably unrealistically, that no harm will come to Walt's family, but I'm gonna go out on a limb with this ... In one of the episodes before the big shootout, there was a shot of Hank and Steve standing in front of paintings of flowers. I took that as a possible sign of their impending deaths, which we now know did occur shortly thereafter. In both of the most recent two episodes, Walt Jr. and Skyler were seen standing (in the car wash) in front of greeting cards that had flowers on them, some pink, and of course Holly continues to appear in her pink jumpsuit so... Maybe.
The Nazis know WAY too much about Walt and Jesse's personal lives and seeing what happened to Andrea and how easily they entered the White house, it makes me less optimistic that Walt's family will be unharmed in the end. As far as the police, DEA, etc. they don't know a third party's involved which allows for vulnerability. I keep going back to what Gilligan said about the ending being a victory for Walter, yet not feeling that way for many viewers. So we know more bad things will happen yet Walt somehow 'wins'. BTW Anna Gunn deserves that Emmy. Congrats to her and the show for snatching 2. I'm still wondering how Banks and Paul (and Dinklage) lost though..
I think in reality if they were going to kill Walt's family it would have been a lot sooner in real life than what we are seeing. He has been up in that cabin for some time now and his family continues to live. I'm not saying they won't die, but if they had to die for knowing too much I just think it would have happened by now.
Personally I think Walt is going to become a Voodoo priest and raise Hank from the dead to become his zombie BFF. Then Jesse will kill everyone in Todd's crew with the help of Badger and Skinny Pete. Badger will go on to become a surgeon while Skinny Pete will become a rocket scientist. Jesse now feels even worse about all of his crimes and becomes a nun despite being a guy. In the end there will be a song and dance number kind of like Stomp or Riverdance only they are dancing on sheets of Blue Sky which of course sounds like breaking glass. It'll make up for the horrible ending in the series Dexter.
I'd know about the cast's visit to him and how the Blood Money episode was dedicated in his memory but Gilligan asking him to add something to the final 8 eps so such a awesome. Much respect to Gilligan for adding that bit to Granite State, its unfortunate the boy didn't get to finish the series and see his contribution to it.
I still want to know what happened btw Walt, Gretchen, and Elliot though in the early Grey Matter days. It's obvious from earlier seasons that Walt and Gretchen were romantically involved, but why did Walt take the buy out and end it with Gretchen? Was Elliot involved in that mess? Did he meet Skylar? Bizarre love triangle? Am I forgetting something?
^^ From my understanding their love life got in the way of work. I'm sure Elliot did something to win Gretchen's heart despite Walt's feelings for her. Because of this he had to go the buyout route. We don't get the details but we can imagine that tension drove their parting of ways. For anyone who watches BB and Dexter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZZdTKjiFQU
^^^ Spoiler "Meanwhile, instead of watching Dexter, your time could have been better spent testing how much different objects hurt when you dropped them on your dick!"
the one thing that bothers me is the gang not checking the trunk for a bomb or someone hiding with a gun or something. I guess they needed that plothole though And the after show confirms Walt died, which I thought was left kind of ambiguous edit: I did like the stevia and chain means of death
