I can't really speak for other people, just for me. I would pass a toy I want if I didn't like the seller or his ways. Have done this more than once in the past.
The difference is just that you just pointed out, didn't see Target Earth coming here to scout for potential buyers. Even the stores that do have a history out side this forum and most people know about them regardless of being here or not.
They don't come here and say 'Hey! I'm a big time collector, have been for a long time. And guess what? Now you can all buy from me too'.

edit. And I should add, I'm not against exclusives, I'm against people using us, this.

Too bad it's not a perfect world
and people don't like to be told
    what to do and say...especially
    when it involves OPINIONS...

Don't tell people what to do
    and they'll probably reward you
    with the same respect!

And I'm not going to read
the PM you just sent me
    because I know it's contents
    are batshit crazy!!!

Chill down folks, Sales tactics/channels discussion aside (which is actually a pretty big can of worms to debate over),

I love the colourways of stuff they are putting out so far, from the avo green gamerudons to this pink gorz, melds with the sculpt with a tinge of extra special added.

You can go into your inbox and delete a message without opening it, smartass...which is exactly what I did and will do to any pms you ever send me again.

Tread lightly, because unlike Andy I DO still have the pms you sent me last year after sdcc, complete with your veiled threats to undermine my employment...so if you want to get bitchy with me I'll throw your ass into the fire...

All I said was I don't like having to sign up for a membership to buy something. It's my opinion and I'll stick by it no matter what. Also since we're airing dirty laundry, I'll also chime in that YES I also believe Angel Abby came here with the sole purpose of fishing for customers. I mean she (or they) went from selling Gargamel LB's to trading in their best one off's for bait to score Gorilla Ju's. Either that or they used the store for a means to an end. All this in the span of less than a year here. Hard to take them serious as collectors. Then again isn't this board comprised of 75% speculators, 25% collectors anymore?

Since Angel Abby is reading this, I have nothing to say about their sale practices. But please, when you ship toys, use some bubble wrap or softer material. When I bought one of the TE exclusives from you, it shipped it in some crumpled up heavy stock paper and arrived with several scratches. That is all.

Wow, that's terrible. I'm appalled when casual sellers ship with only newsprint or paper padding. A company run by collectors should know better.

I actually think that if you pack it right, newspaper works really well. because it's somehwhat soft.
but I will still usually put the toy in a bag, then wrap with bubble wrap then surround with crumpled newspaper so it doesnt shake all around the box. but, just heavy stock paper alone is no good for sure.

This wasn't newspaper. It was very heavy stock paper. Which is fine as filler surrounding bubble wrap or for Unpainted figures. Anyway glad yours was packaged correctly.

I think you're saying the toy was shipped loose with only heavy stock paper as padding?

Oh christ. Let me tell you about this one time when they put their business card in the same bag as the toy. Mind you, I ordered two toys, so two AngelAbby business cards, one in each bag  . Both exactly the same, as if I needed their contact info twice; it's like I didn't know who I was ordering from to begin with? Yes there were scratches.

And while we're at it. All you guys that sell on the bst, please don't put the header in the same bag when you ship a toy. I'm sure it's a great space saving idea, but yeah it's kind of unnecessary and does more harm than good  .... Remember when you learned about friction in science class?

The toy was in a ziplock bag. But that didn't do much to protect it from the paper shipping materials.

Our new staff make the big mistake,he put name card in the bag.
I'm apologize about it,but it will not happen again,Don't worry.
Since now,We will start to pack item by using bubble sheet.

It will have some special event need our name card.
This is the reason why we still put our name card in every order.

Okay, so this is a really awesome Görz, maybe my favourite yet, but is no one else feeling out of the loop on this? Is this a one-off, or are we just driving up the hype with this 'limited edition?' I mean, damn, I love it, but that is a lot of bills to be dropping. This hobby is so discouraging for those of us not on a disposable income.

I am not trying to knock Super7, this is just the aftermarket come full circle I know. I am just surprised at the pricing for a small figure, which we don't even know the run of. Isn't the idea of a lottery that you are supposed to be lucky to "win" the chance to buy an awesome figure at regular retail pricing, before it explodes for resale? :|

Nevermind my gripes; could be I am the only one. Still love Super7 for all it does for us. Best of luck to everyone in the lotto.

Yeah - "attention to detail" only goes so far. $200 for, essentially, a mini fig is ridiculous. SB's prices on their new mini figs is bad enough, but this is just crazy. I like the figures, but in a way I'm glad that they are prohibitively expensive - keeps me from even considering buying them.
