sorry to disrupt your regularly scheduled browsing: my PC has been displaying the word "Image" in place of the actual Jpg lately. I have tried cache/ cookies cleanse and no luck. I think this has been discussed before, is anyone having this problem or can help me? thx
Have you tried right clicking the word Image and clicking on "View Image" or something of that nature? I'm having the same problem, but I think mine is much greater than this.
yes, I have copied the link and found I cant access any photobucket imgs. not even the photobucket homepage.. maybe this will change soon and its just a temporary bug..
Weird, I get the same thing, but I can't figure out what's going on. When I change my network I can access it just fine. Who is your internet provider?
First I'd try a different browser, just to see if you dont have some extension active that's blocking them for some strange reason. It could be your ISP filtering content, but i seriously doubt they'd block photobucket.
I think it is a problem with the provider. My DNS is giving out bad addresses when I try to go to photobucket, I probably wouldn't have noticed this problem if it were another site. Tavaro if you're on comcast, that might be your problem.
Bizarre. I think comcast was one of the providers that agreed recently to filter child pornography, maybe it was just easier for them to block the whole of photobucket Or photobucket made a DNS change that's not propagated yet.
must be an ISP conflict at my work address or comp. Im at home now and can see all the pics I missed today. Hope this gets sorted out soon. thanks for the help everyone.
Now I'm having this problem as well (also Comcast). This only started since maybe yesterday. When I try to access the photobucket page, I get bounced to another page. It seems like we're being misrouted to the pages, so my instinct is that legoomba may be right about the DNS error.
the IT guy at my office did some research and told me photobucket is down for most of LA right now... I guess some hackers changed the PB address to point to this crappy adspace/ award space website to get it more hits.. hope this is back to normal soon, I cant even see user avatars!
yeah.. that's funny. i get the adspace site when i use my old firefox, and when i use it for IE I get a half broken site. so annoying edit: damn turks! http://blogs.zdnet.com/security/?p=1285
On a similar note, looks like some assholes hacked TT this morning... Sorry guys, hope you are back online soon.
