instant message

just wondering about an instant message type on this board
its kind of a paint to go back and forth between pm when you both are online

 

This would be cool.

 

Just ask for their AIM and move over to AIM? That's what I do.

I don't use AIM or really any other IM services. I do use google's instant chat from time to time (very rarely).

Just thought it would be nice to be able to IM folks on here without filling up your inbox with messages.

I'm actually with you Kev, don't use any IM, almost never. It could be nice to have something here.

I myself have not used it yet, but was wondering if anybody else would think tinychat would fit here.

 

If you want to go old-school, IRC is always an option. There is even a Firefox plugin called ChatZilla that integrates right into the browser. Someone would just have to set up a channel.
