Sweet. Large-size kitty fun. Not sure if it works just as well as the mini, but this is still really early. He certainly seems to have chunked up a bit. Eating fish nearly your size'll do that to you I guess
^ I agree, not as cute as the original so I'm not sure if I'll like it as much. Time will tell. It was destined to happen with the popularity of the toy though.
i have horrible, almost lottery level, luck with max toy releases that i've pretty much given up... but this is so great! i love that the fish looks more like a taiyaki than an actual fish!
Good news "Ok so going forward for the next release I will try something different. The next mini Negora I will post an image of the figure and everyone who wants one can order one ( or more ) we'll make them to order."
I'm not big on minis (har har, get it?) but have always been interested in Negora. In addition, I almost hate cats, but that standard size version rules. I will definitely try to get one of those.
I'm not a member of the Max Toy club so I have missed out on every kitty to date.. am I making any sense now...?
Micro Negora for the Konatsu/Mark Nagato exhibition. Doki Doki Osaka Sofubi Expo exclusive. Also.... http://blog.goo.ne.jp/kadomiumtank/1
Thanks for updating with new pics Chimply. Mark and Yo-san are working so fast, your "Page 1 database" is going to be several pages soon.
That Doki Doki show exclusive looks amazing. Love the different vie point with the incredibly bright colours. If anyone is heading there, and this isn't really their thing, let me know.
Welcome. Hard to believe that so many versions have been release in such a short time. Yet all so not easily to find. Art by Konatsu from her twitter dated March 5, 2012.
im the exact same as this . not a cat fan but love this toy i think its just a good all around fun kaiju. Once you have one you love them even more.
That standard size is looking good. I still need one of the small ones, glad to hear an open order is coming soon.
I am really disspointed (just as much as I am sure Mark is too) to see the March releases already being 're-sold.' I mean, these are barely even released (only through 1-Up so far as I know) and have already hit both of the auction sites. The regional seller was kind enough to already drop his price from it's initial ridiculous value.
Yeah, it's a shame to see people already flipping the last release so quickly. Actually the seller had the price at $160. Boosted the price up to $300. And then lower it to $250. King Negora sculpted by Yoshihiko Makino of TTToy. Will make it's debut at the KONATSUNAGATA art show at Harajuku Design Festa Gallery, Japan on March 31, 2012. Also Oh (Big) Nezumi (Rat) figure will be the omake for King Negora.
