Such sad news in this thread of late... all my sympathies to those that have lost a furry little friend recently! I wish that I couldn't relate, but I'm happy that I haven't had to confront that unfortunate situation since my pup left in '10. Anyway, here's the latest bomb: Keisa and Quibbins saw me splayed out on the porch and couldn't resist joining me.
How do those of you with open displays and cats deal with potential knock-overs and climbing? I don't have kitties any longer, but I was getting rather anxious about accidents before they left.
Really sorry to hear about your loss Ben. Sad news in this usually cheerful thread. It is never easy to lose a companion like that, especially one as fluffy and loving as I am sure Tyson was. My condolences. @ toothaction - nice that your kitties are always happy to oblige a kindly photoshoot.
I'm sorry to hear about your losses... I took a picture of the adorable cat who lives at Estacao Botafogo Cinema, in Rio.
Bomb of the day: Quibs want's you to think that her head is bigger than Kanegon's. Do not believe her lies.
We just adopted this little guy. He was in a bad shape when he got to our home two weeks ago and we're still in the process of getting him better. He lost his left eye due to bacterial infection. He has big ears like a bat, he's very docile and loving. And very playful! We're so lucky.
My aunt (whos a crazy cat lady), used to have a 1 eyed cat. That was the best cat ever. Anywho, helooks fairly similar to me when im inebriated getting ready to pass out on the floor. if you coldnt already tell, this thread is right up my alley.. hope none of these are reposts edit: resi was high on these guys, so i figured it would be better to put in a spoiler.. Spoiler
One of the new kittens I got to hang with when I visited my parents. I named him Willy Wonky, on account of his wonky eyes.
^^^ So cutie cute! Baby kittees sort of go through an "alien" stage, but they grow so quickly! Aldo, congrats on the new adoption! Looking forward to seeing more pics of him. He's lucky to have you for his daddee! *sorry, it's an ad, but Grumpy is so cute (shocking to see how small he is! ) ...and
I had to spend most of my morning chasing around my degenerate drunk of a neighbor's cat who somehow got her paw caught in her collar and was limping and hopping around the street until I could catch it and free it. I was thanked with lots of hissing and caterwauling... of course all the while allowing me to pet and caress her. "I hate you" hiss hiss hiss, "pet me more" hiss hiss hiss
One of my favorite clips. Someone on Discovery seems to think that the cat has a cough, but I have been around cats that mimic neighborhood dogs before so... I'm just glad someone finally caught it on tape! 666doll - Yeah, they can be contrary little bastards. I used to catsit for my friend when he was out of town, and it took her a bit to trust me enough to be allowed to pick her up and hug her occasionally. Well, when I'd visit his house and do the same, she would be cool with it if my friend wasn't in the room, but when he walked back in she'd start fussing and yowling. I think that was her way of saying "He can't know about us! He wouldn't understand!"
^^^TOTALLY Hilarious! as if he/she is thinking, "oh, noes! caught in the act by the hooman! ...er, no, really, i'm a cat see... meowr!" Never seen/heard that one before, thanks for sharing it! So sweet! I think the cat is bigger than the hooman! that is one happy baby! P.S. ...and if you're working late, here is 20 mins of Mom cat to babysit you...
Cuteness Overload thanks for sharing, Robert. Just lookit dat punim! That little bugger could claw up all my furniture, and I still couldn't stay mad
He just keeps getting chubbier and more destructive. Ha ha. When I visit my parents, he'll follow me through their house and climb up my jeans to get my keys hangin' from my carabiner.
