Some crazy new drug making its rounds in Russia. It will cause the users skin to turn grey and fall off. The user effectively rots away. http://morrisonworldnews.com/?p=51494 Warning, the video is VERY graphic.
WTF? Just to let everyone know, the above link is very gory (as in naked chick with bones and meat exposed) and has lots of videos a lot of you will not enjoy or appreciate.
Looks like curiosity got the best of you. I did warn you. It's crazy to me that it turns people into basically living zombies.
Holy fuck. Living zombies is exactly what i was thinking, unreal. I had to stop when the girl was in pain, terrible. Im going to hop over to the Grasshut site for some relief : (
No need to watch. It just reads like unfortunate images of people that are suffering from addiction. I don't feel better or need to see the suffering. Pass.
Psssst I got this new cool drug that will make the meat fall of your bones. Wanna try it? Sure why not.
Info without the visual horror ... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/krokodil-the-drug-that-eats-junkies-2300787.html
fuck big pharm is the gist of it. chilling stuff, especially how it makes heroin look like a humane alternative.
I'm no drug counciler, but I guess it's easy to point the finger at pharmacies, pharmacists, pharmaceutical companies- but what's better? Giving heroine junkies a cheap fix, or having them come down from a high, committing more crime and doing whatever it takes to get more heroine. What are the statistics, how many heroine addicts break addiction, especially if they live in poverty and in Russia and can't check into a Beverly Hills rehab center? Not defending big pharma, just posing the question what would be happening if heroine was the only option? And would their society really be better off with the pharmacies restricting codine?
Really? I think that's a pretty poor conclusion to reach. They have nothing to do with this epidemic, and the profits they're seeing from it are probably negligible given that krokodil users make up a fraction of a percent of their customers...on an OTC drug that's quite cheap. It's the local pharmacies that would be profiting from the sales, not the pharmaceutical companies. And it should be the Russian government that gets the blame for classifying codeine as an OTC drug. If another dose of krokodil was never cooked the pharmaceutical companies would never notice.
I saw some pics by accident, no "heads up" on the link from a friend. Even after seeing a lot of stuff like this, it bothers me. I think maybe because when I see similar stuff, even the few times in person, it's not intentional. As where this, in a sense, is. I just can't fathom someone, especially so young, wanting to do this to themselves (even though what they want is to get high, but they have to know this is a side effect.) It seems like the plot from some over the top 80's shock movie. This drug could totally replace "nuke" in Robocop 2 or a number of plot devices in 80's zombie or radioactive monster films.
Well I think it can only be one or two scenarios: thats actually how addicting heroin and heroin-type drugs really are, or they simply stopped caring about living. Because if looking at your neighbor down the hall who is doing the same drug but has pieces of her body literally falling off doesn't get you to stop, then you really don't give a fuck anymore or its chemical addiction like nothing else in this world. Easily one of the most fucked up things I have ever witnessed and i thought I have seen more than enough fucked up shit in my life.
