They don't glow so bright because I usually spray over most of the body so not much GID shows through. Also, the factory that was pulling them before used a different vinyl, the new factory is using stuff I can read a book by so the next batch are super bright. Good timing too, I waited a while to get these and they are going to someone special so I'm really looking forward to what he'll do.
I appreciate that . . . but i noticed even the unpainted parts (like the bottoms of the feet) were subpar. Its not unusual though, GID strength varies wildly between sofubi manufacturers. Thats good news about the new factory!
That's true, another reason I'm happy about the new factory. comparing the old GID and the new one is like night and day. The new ones are thicker and really keep the glow. The new place makes great clear too, the ones I got last time were like crystal, I've seen some clears that were yellowish right after being pulled. The green I just received are beautiful too!
^^^ Yeah, Omocha to Neko on Flickr has recently uploaded a photo. Looks gorgeous http://www.flickr.com/photos/vinylriot/8645647397/
Just woke up and there was the email and the invoice, looks like they came in at 4AM this morning. What a great way to start the day!
Congratulations! I wasn't so lucky this time. If anyone gets it in hand and doesn't like it as much as they thought, I'll give it a good home haha.
Amidst a metric ton of work email - buried in there was a congrats from Blobpus! So stoked - a toy by two of my favorite creators!
Beautiful paint app...and great pics! Thanks Dok!! Love the green on the back and the skull looks like it has red hair
