What's everyones take on sonnen testing positive for steroids with the silva fight? He was up for a immediate rematch with silva, which I honestly don't think he deserves... It was no controversial decision on sonnen losing. He had it, got caught and tapped. But anyways since word of him testing positive the fight is off

 

I didn't hear he tested positive.....DAMN!! I think aside from testing positive he totally deserved a rematch. He was kicking the shit out of him, but got caught at the very end. He was the hands down winner up until that point, but shit steroids really? Sucks for him!!

What was it a 21 second KNOCK the fuck OUT!!!!! Hughes said "what happened" after it was over. When Joe was interviewing him he said "he clipped you" and Matt said something like no it was more than a clip. He thought it was a knee or kick!

 

Wow. So... I guess they should change Matt's record to reflect 2 more losses and 1 less win.

I use to love boxing, but found it very boring with the fighters always holding on to each other.
MMA with an all around great fighter with a killer jab was very entertaining!!

 

Koz didnt rep my home town(Fresno) very well last night. GSP looked on point, as usual. What about Alves? Dude looked incredible, I dont think he even broke a sweat in that fight. Im with you Mark, I couldnt even see how Joe Daddy got knocked out, crazy.

 

So who does GSP fight next? Sheilds? Seems like there's nobody even close to at his level of class. I don't think Sheilds is a valid contender but I can't think of anyone else they can put up against GSP at this weight.

 

I think Alves is making his case for a rematch, but I could also see GSP move up in weight class (maybe).
