^^^ Thank you! The blue-glo popsicle vinyl has me wondering if the new Ragon is going to be similar. I have one incubating in a box in JP. Just waiting for a few more auctions, and then I'll have all of the butas adopted in 2016, sent over!

 

Although I don't have any of those icey blue beauties, i can confidently say ragon is a darker blue than those, but lighter than the blue '62 goji

 

Hmmmm... you mean more like a purplish blue? Sorta reminiscent of blueberry sugared candied jellies?


Anyone want to make a negative mold of their Ragon (for candy molding), and then whip up a batch of blueberry candied Ragons?

Yep! I know! I was away from the computer all morning, and the Butas popped up like candy!

 

Box arrived from JP, containing all of the 2016 Buta adoptions!




Just three toys are not Buta
Time to go wash them!

 

Washed, except for MIB. I broke down and adopted the green Eleking (those eyes were always wonky!) and a fantastic cream Seabozu from Paul (thank you Paul! ), others were from auctions or Mmmmm&m's , and only includes buta from the large box I received today (not other adoptions--some shown on p. 62 & p. 63!). 2016 was a year focused on fattening up the Buta herd, and I think 2017 will be focusing on lassoing vintage .
*Note: These Butas are not up for adoption at any price, and will be released from their cocoons, once the display cases are up

It's never too late to start adopting Buta. They are colorful, charming, and really fun! Actually, the sooner the better, as they seem to be getting harder to adopt, and/or prices go up. Your best bet is to find them on Skullbrain. The SB'ers are really a great bunch and in general, prices are much better (compared to the auctions or web shops). PaulK and D.-No have some really nice Butas right now, in the Sales listings

 

besides my devilman obsession i was stuck on three neo-kaiju makers but these seem to fit well when displayed together! as of this morning i am the proud owner of the cream and pink dodongos and the pink todola!

 

@Mr. Humphreys : That's indeed a nice box...
Did you take a look at the stamp on the 2nd Spectreman release ?
It's not the customary stamp found on P.Pro licences and I found it odd, all the more there was some allusions to production issues before it was released.

Oh theres my Buta GID Thundermask and mini Leafman! At least I know they are stateside now. Kidding kidding, seriously Grace super envious of this haul, but especially those two. Can't wait to see your set up when complete.

@Lixx , nice photo of your new buta kiddees! Great to see you snared a Whale too! ...sheesh they only made a brief appearance in the wild, and now they've gone into hiding again . The OG creamy Whale has gold teethies, so it's nice to see the version 2 has silver teethies

agreed! i picked up like four or five mini bullmarks this week. goji, mecha g, ganime, gidorah, and varan i think!

 

Today:

Reunited with the Fab Four again and with the last four. Nothing like Mr. Humphreys' haul though. My goodness Gracious, that's beautiful!

 

Man, I don't know why I didn't buy both those sets when I was at DesignerCon.

 

@plasticXO , yes! you are right, I didn't notice the stamp on the second Spectreman, until you mentioned it. I wonder what exactly these production issues were?

@akum6n , I hope to spiffy up my vintage dino herd as well. It's pretty sparse right now

@chimply.kaiju , I've waited a long time to find an Oodako, but I'm sure more will pop up in the future, it just takes a lot of diligence in the pursuit

@poysntixels , impressive! I stuck with the Osaka minis (that's the small clump of bagged plastic in my pics), as the cave people were a bit too hostile looking for my tastes
