Mongolion is really quickly becoming my favorite sculpt/production piece from S7.

...must...keep...focus...can't start...collecting...Mongolions now...but...so gorgeous...if only...I could...reach...my...bat...utility-belt...

 

yeah, this one is definitely the best one since the initial release. I'm looking forward to owning another Mongolion!

what is is the base figure mongolion?

 

the head ...incredible. so much going on, but still subtle.

 

Started off as gray GID.

 

Does it still glow in parts?

 

I keep coming back and looking at that custom. It's amazing.

 

Wait...you mean this guy didn't start clear? Are those paint effects on the mane that make it appear translucent?

 

Grey GID was a GID filled clear . . . hence the translucency.

I apologize gentlemen and possibly gentlewomen.
This started off as the clear gray GID piece that came out last year.
It does glow in the dark but not a very strong glow due to all the customization.
Still though you got to respect the translucent parts of the piece he used color vs. the solid sprays.

If I was going to invest in a piece right now pick up his red and metallic silver spray version.
It's much better than what you see. In fact Matt told me the piece is stunning up close.
