The Vinyl Wars Godzilla should be shipping out at the end of October! But it is Medicom so maybe a little later than expected..
^ Too delicious! I'm wondering about the other tease from the blog now - "Be interesting also playing with gorillas and Sudaru ..." Here's another view of the King, this time from Yohei Yamashita:
Arrived today. Wow June seemed so long ago! Had a bit of a scare as USPS does not like the way the zip code was filled it, instead of 14222 Medicom wrote 01-4222 so it was mis-sent to another post office. I called as soon as I saw that and intercepted it at my local office before being sent to god knows where! Toy nerds should really just take over the USPS to assure proper delivery Anyhow folks here you go! I put in a comparison shot of an older 62 Goji AND I could not resist a Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla shot. Luckily those Slash repros sort of are the same size. Love the homage to Bullmark's Giant Godzilla! Excuse the boxes, I'm moving in a month or so- something I'm really dreading with all these toys and records. Bright side I'll finally live in a house (that me & Kim will own) which is also 5 minutes from the college I'm attending. Downside (besides the actual move) houses are money pits and even though everything is new, well more funds towards that than toys
Came across this image on the web. I didn't see this posted on Mr. Ohashisan's blog. Is this a custom paint on a mini? And, what's that going on with his tummy, surgical stitches?
^ Thats my picture Anyway, this is a small run of the new ChibaQ figure. Slightly smaller than its 'peanut' cousin and slightly bigger than the micros. Does looks like a hat on the tummy.
Hmm, I'm not really into the stenciled eyes on the Medicom Goji. Did Ohashi paint these or was it Medicom?
Whoops! Didn't mean to steal your pic! Colors are pretty and bright, and it's interesting to see Ohashisan making 3 sizes of figures. Thanks for the info, I thought part of his lower intestines were peeking through
Ahh I was wrong, in my defense they have almost identical silhouettes! Looks good. Crap hope these take awhile to come out as I'm way short on funds currently. Good to know mine is the only one with dead 'zombie' eyes. I was wondering about that.
^ It was a fine guess, Chris - I was arguing that it was probably another Tsuburaya hero at the time that tease was first out there...
Holy shit! One of my favorite hero characters. Man, I hope Ohashi goes crazy making Spectreman villains. They are some of the strangest and best monsters around.
