I think this looks like everything that I saw was available. Not so good for individual pics but just to see what was there: http://www.vinylpulse.com/2011/07/sdcc- ... .html#more
So I was looking up Nakazawa and found this image.I think this is what the yellow pocket guy is based on. Bottom right corner.
I think this is the most painful thing Gargamel has done yet. I wants one of these...except for the fact that there's only one of these (image via TBS):
$300 for some of those Deathras seems very reasonable (although I'd still never pay that amount..hahaha).
Gargamel is hands down my favorite company and when I stop collecting they will be the last to go out of my collection. However, this year...it seems rather boring. Same one-offs and nothing outstanding. (All the one-offs are topnotch...but they have been doing 1-off's for awhile.) To me there wasn't anything absolutely shocking and mindblowing. They had a few new sculpts (and yes I got one) but there wasn't anything that truly stood out like previous years. And mind you...I'm a HUGE fan of gargamel. And yes I understand why gargamel does the one-off stuff for sdc.
It does not get any better than that pocket zag for me, easily one of my favourite vinyl/paint combos. I just hope they decide to release one in standard size, we really need a red vinyl standard release.
I'm not usually a camo guy but all of these multi-colored camo's are really working well. Love them. Even the little blue Bako. Maybe that one more then the others?
i think you are definitely not alone feeling this. despite spectacular customs being put out, it is clear that the excitement generated by these is eroding show after show, year after year. Gargamel does need to reinvent their money spinning formula to stay fresh. although i still have room any kiyoka mibora
I think it's been more than a year. Gargamel isn't my absolute FAVORITE toy company - but I do love most of their standard-sized figures. And it's been a LOOOOOOOONG time since they've had a regular released standard that was anywhere close to mind-blowing. I've been waiting for a handful of years to buy another Zag, to replace the ones that I sold years ago. I'd just like to buy one Zag and one Deathra, and then I can be content - but every time G paints a Zag or Deathra that's worth buying it's a one-off, and I'm not interested in one-offs. I know I've harped on this before, but I'm going to continue harping on it until they actually produce a standard release that's worth buying. On a tangent - it seems (to me at least) that the "Big 3" (G, SB, RxH) have completely fallen to the wayside. I know RxH is still pumping releases out, and has new sculpts popping up all the time, but I rarely even care to look in the RxH thread anymore. And whenever I check the SB thread it's never due to a FF update. And then with G it's always awesome one-offs, pocket lint, or otherwise uninteresting toys. Prove me wrong, Gargamel! Prove me wrong!
