I am kind of relieved that I am not into these big guys.

I was never into the first few big guy releases but the 9" Chaos that came out in the silver and black colour kind of got me interested in at least giving them a second look. This one is amazing though.

Not sure how I feel about this, but definitely interested to see better photos and where they go with this:

I still like RxH a lot but it's been months since I've bought anything because of the bigs & repetitive releases. Seeing the large Evil made it clear to me why I'm not drawn to the large figures--the body sculpts are just not very interesting. You have a lot more vinyl and it's not doing much besides holding up heads that are basically familiar.

The new li'l slime, chaos etc. look cute. I'll pick up some of those.

I wish Mori would just do a completely new standard-sized figure.

whats the deal with the Pheyaos figures? Only avail through Onell, so are they sold through the shop or is there some other method? I emailed Onell and have not gotten a response.

Yea, seems like the only way to get the Pheyaos is through Onell in the US.
However, the only release has been the Mini.
All the others have been JP only at RxH.
From what I know, first US release of the Pheyaos Man is in March.

I don't know why, I just can't get into these bigger sized figures.

I think it might be the colour apps. If some brighter, less dark-metallic colourways come out, maybe then I'd get hooked...

they don't tickle my fancy either. I almost went for the clear unpainteds, but without the pheyoas (sp?) man, I decided to pass.

Something about the size and look of the sculpts--just makes me not want to collect a bunch of them or anything. they look more like action figures to me.

and the paint apps haven't been AWESOME IMHO. everyting is dark, and rubbed. I'll see if some unpainteds surface in brighter colors--then I'd be down.

to each his own. I'm glad the newer sculpts are a hit with some collectors.

I've said a couple times that I like the new Adult sculpts, but I'll admit right out that part of why I like them is that I don't feel like I need more than one or two of each. I'm waiting for a green Adult Head I like, and the blue Evil to pick up any more.

I think the bigger size only works well with the new heads like the Fly. I'm not liking the remake of the old heads for these bigger bodies. Still need to pick up one of the Fly guys.

I agree Bert. Maybe it's because we haven't seen more compact versions of characters like FlyGuy (or whatever it's called.)

For me the drawback is about proportions. The fight size figs look "strong" to my eye. The large figs look gangly ... something's a little "off." Oh well to each their own. I'd rather see Mori keep pushing his own envelope than getting stale. That said, I can't see how Bigaro would work at all ... but I bet if it happens, it'll surprise us all. For me, the Bigaroid is the "grown up" version despite its numerous differences from the Bigaro.

Live coverage flicks on lulu's facebook. These mash-up figures look cool. Not sure about the arms on the og trio.
