    'MAIDO'

    General consensus says it means 'ALWAYS'.

    Maido literally means “always”. The word “Maido” is usually used as “Maido-ari”. “Ari” is from arigato which means “Thank you”.
    When leaving a store in the Kansai region (southern-central part of Japan), a sales associate would usually say “Maido-ari” meaning “Thank you for always coming”
