Holy fuck i am SUPER excited for the X-Men Juggernaut build a figure set coming out!



Im just debating which figures are going to be stupidly hard to try and find in stores. Will be kind of fun trying to hunt them down once they pop up in stores.

Yeah hes pretty darn cool! I know Deadpool will probably sell fast considering it just had a successful movie made. Cable is a welcome to!

 

Yeah gotta get the whole set of figures for Juggernaut but they have been doing that for awhile now with the Toybiz versions even before Hasbro got the license from them.

Ill give you an example in a little bit today. Just got the whole Red Skull Build a figure set. Because this Redskull version is super badass.

 

Those Deadpool figs are hard to get hold of. Build a figures are dope. Glad to see a more X centric line. As of late it's been so much avengers shit.

 

Well some of the Avengers stuff is pretty cool though even the newer wave that is not out yet.

He has a regular head but i prefer the wolf one.

I thought i had all the figures to show you guys the Red Skull but im missing one. Luckily i know where to get one quick when the stores open lol.

 

I think we will see more hopefully its just a matter of "WHEN" per say. Toybiz had a truly extensive line of figures and some of those ones were far more accurate with the comic books in general than the Hasbro versions. Not to say that i don't like the Hasbro versions of figures but this is what i noticed since i do have some of the original Toybiz sculpts.

 

Ok finally got the figure i needed to finish off the Red Skull set lol. I had to bike around for a bit since my local Gamestop suddenly decided not to have her in stock. XD

Sharon Carter

Overall i really like her body great mold only issue I have with her is the cheesy gun she comes with but other than that great figure.

Red Skull

This is the build a figure version for the Captain America set. Great build a figure over all and super menacing. Im not to sure on the story behind this version of him though.

And than i took a group shot of the whole set. You can see Captain America with his normal head. Great classic version of captain America from the comic books if you ask me. As well as mocking birds staff which separates into two batons as well as the alternative head that comes with the Task Master.

 

They need to remake a couple legends figs. The Psylocke, Luke Cage, havok, spiderwoman

I feel like the Legends female sculpts need some thickness. They all end up looking like Rob liefeild did the anatomy

 

Sharon carter came out really awesome. But yeah they probably need to go back and redo a few of the females. You know i just saw a spiderwoman in my local Walgreens while hunting for Carter on the way. She looked ok to me. I see no issue with her body.

 

I know the last 2 pics are not that great. Im really tired after biking a few miles to where i needed to go and back lol. But thats red skull onslaught from the newer comics.



And the capwolf is a much needed piece although i wish Hasbro had given him alternative wolf claws to go with it. Since that version of him was from the 90s people probably wont remember it as much. Im pretty sure all these versions are from newer concept designs of the villains and heroes except for Captain America which is in classic form.

 

Capwolf is my favorite Mark Gruenwald work. That figure needs some torn up costume and claws.

 

At LEAST some claws would have been appropriate. Idk why the hell they didn't do it? They literally gave Edge Of The Spiderverse Spider Man a bunch of poseable extra hands PLUS claw hands to go with his alternative symbiote head.

And im uploading some new pics soon as well as some old Marvel Legends Toy Biz stuff while I have the figures out.

 

Some other stuff i have thats open but not a full build a set from Hasbro.

And some of the OLD Toybiz versions. Ill give you guys a break with some X Men Stuff. I really agree with you guys that Hasbro needs to dabble allot more into the X Men franchise in general. There are a tone of figures still yet to be made.


This one i think is a variant of a variant actually. If you look at the picture of him on the side you see he has a blue suite. This one does not.

 

New toys coming out from the cancelled 2011 Thundercats show!

Dear god yes i need my Thundercats fix!!!!! XD



These chibi versions are going to go great on a counter space!

And SDCC Barbie She-Ra which really does not look bad at all.

 

So i got something pretty cool for you guys to check out tonight. If your not aware yet there is a collectors exclusive set of TMNT 2: Secret Of The Ooze figures at Walmarts you can buy in wake of the new TMNT 2: Out Of the Shadows movie. You can only find these at that particular store. I got lucky with the Walmart that is literally right across the street from me and they had a complete line to choose from. Now i only picked up one figure because i wanted to test the waters with this figure and i REALLY like what I see with them. Playmates has really outdone themselves with these movie renditions of the turtles and these particular figures sport about 34 points of articulation which makes them highly poseable for collectors to play with as well as kids. They all come with an assortment of 4 different heads sporting different emotions as well as there signature weapons and a few other fun nick nacks. They cost about 20 dollars which is the same as the price of the Marvel Legends toys but make no mistake they give you quite a bit of bang for your buck. But besides Leonardo you can get Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello.

I really hope the Voltron toy line coming out next year has some awesome collectors pieces like this one that was released.
