I posted about these over in the enamel pins thread last week, so I apologise first up for posting about this project again on the boards. Reason being is I was so caught up and excited about making sofubi-themed pins that I wanted for myself, I kind of didn't pay attention that these designs may not appeal to the general public. Thankfully though, the small group of humans on this planet who may be interested in these are pretty much all collected here on SB so I figured why not make a thread about it! There are some announcements to come - some sofubi makers have agreed to work on some collab pins that will be announced once a few more pledges get us closer to 100%. The first collab is a doozy! One thing that hasn't been announced anywhere yet is that the fourth bonus mystery pin in the Series 1 set option is a design collaboration with instagram's pachi-expert Pachidrunkers! I'm hoping to keep the momentum rolling with this stretch goal - I worked together with Yoda on a triple majin pin design which will be given away for free to every backer if the funding reaches $1800 (the extra funding pays for the production of the pin). Great to see these reaching their goals! Haha but I am slightly disappointed theres only one stretch goal ;P Looking forward to seeing these in hand!
They should be arriving earlier than expected - just sent off all of the artwork last week to have the molds made early. Once the kickstarter finishes in 7 days time and funds have been transferred, I should be able to order pins and get them back in hand before the end of July/early August rather than the early September date that I had planned for
