I hope Medicom eventually does an open run of all three. I doubt it would be Japan only right? Tsuburaya can't own the license to these.

Great to see these, really gorgeous paint apps here. Been wanting the dragon in particular for some time so fingers crossed for a Medicom release!
@Kerk1 Definitrly wonderful paints. I’m kinda surprised by the retail of each of these. Not necessarily sayin’ they’re not worth it, but weren’t they below $100 retail? I got my two horn Cyclops on eBay for less than these prices.
Holy fuck fuckballs. So...I apologize for this comment being COMPLETELY off-topic...but I was just catching up on this thread (while waiting to snipe a Sunguts Shin Godzilla on Y!J). And while ogling these pics in my Monday morning haze, I noticed the curious headless robitt in the top right-hand corner of ^^this^^ pic. It took a few seconds for my brain to resolve the image...but that was a fucking DOUGRAM...my favorite...anything! I immediately opened up another browser tab and threw in my search term. BAM!! Clear Medicom Dougram with robo-guts...with 5 minutes left and no bids! THANK YOU, CHRIS!! I could kiss ya!

I'm afraid you're probably right. MWorld was asking 90,000 yen for all 3, which trumps about every mark-up I've ever seen of theirs (possibly excluding the Gargamel consignments). That's 30,000 yen a piece for a $13,000 yen toy. Oh, and yes, Robut, the originals were less expensive, but with today's pricing I suppose it makes sense. I think the originals of most of Medicom's re-released were at a lesser price point. Out of the three presented , I prefer the og paints, except maybe to that of Cyclops. The more realistic animal color scheme of Ymir is a nice addition , but comes across somewhat bland compared to the old.
For shits and giggles...I just added up hxs toys that mandarake has sold and it's about 140, 000+ It's mind boggling that people are paying 4000 + for one toy.
It'd be killer to get a kraken done sofubi style to go with these 3. Some one get kracking for next Wonderfest! And that is just absurd @bryce_r, I assume that is USD which makes it even dumber.
Oh wow! I didn't realize there was a previous version! Gotta check the Medicom site more often... Anyway, yeah, I think this dark-guts one is different. The silver-guts one is still available online...and the one I scored was obviously a WF exclusive. Maybe I should get both and have someone customize one of 'em!
Okay, gotcha, I couldn't tell if it just looked black from the lighting. Great idea on having one customized btw. My vote would be for the silver one, so the shiny silver would come thru in areas left untouched. It's your rodeo tho
I think the two are effectively the same version. There was an allotment produced for sales at WF and they are also taking preorders on a run to be shipped in June.
