My lady has a 49 year old bear that is thread bare, mite eaten, loose, and faded. He really needs a serious makeover in the attempt to last another 49 years.

Anyone know of a plush medic? Experiences? Someone located in Los Angeles would be best.

    Thank you

There are online "stuff toy hospitals". I haven't had any experience with these guys, so I can't make a recommendation, but I saw these listed on a soft toy forum:

*Note that the $49 "hospital visit" for diagnosis/repair estimate, does NOT include the restoration, it's essentially the initial estimate
(I have the cute teddy bear in the 4th cell from the top, since kiddiehood, but she is still in good shape)

    Good luck!

What we have done so far was put the plush in a zip lock and freeze it for a week to kill dustmites. Now it rests in a cloche to protect it. To scared to send it to one of those plush doctors who have images so small you can't really judge the quality of the work.
