There's a place here in SF where the spawns are pretty good and there's always a group of people in the area. The one problem, the connectivity in the area is bad so some people have a hard time getting into the game. Others lock up. Spending an hour there is like spending 30min in some other places but the spawns are so cool so I just tolerate it.
my shop is a gym and ive been running out and yelling at people trying to take down my gym. i have found that leaving magikarps at gyms is amazing. somehow mine beat another magikarp...
In an effort to see if he could hatch some eggs whilst being lazy, my husband taped his iphone to the top of Rudy (our Roomba) and let him go ham. 45 minutes later I can see it isn't working on my phone, so told him to get his phone off Rudy. 45 minutes later Rudy is no longer carrying his phone, tape is half gone, phone is totally gone. We found his phone, Pokemon Go app still open, in the dog's water bowl under an inch of water. Well played karma, well played.
Please don't DON'T be stupid playing this game. Some of these stories made me laugh sooooooooooooooo hard! X'D *Plays Pokemon Go at 1 AM in the morning than runs across a guy* "Hey wanna battle?!" O3O *Gets stabbed with a knife and tries continue playing the game* X'D
Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew are also unavailable. They are all rumored to be available through game events at some point. Hadn't heard that level cap yet though. I'll have to read up.
Level cap is 40. And getting to 40 is damn near impossible. I haven't seen anyone that has caught them all yet. I saw one thread were a guy was a level 30 and had 121 caught.
Ever since I hit 20, my evolutions have been nuts. Like I just catch a ton of zubats because I need the star dust, but I evolved one for XP, and it went from 200 to 900. My vaporeons both went from 450-500 to 1300 - 1400. My other vaporeons only hit 1100 even when starting at 450-500. Plus you get ultra balls and I have started finding wild pokemon in the 800-1000 range.
View this post on Instagram This also happened, so I am pretty stoked haha.. twice taking down team Valor!!
I came across this illustrator dude's blog earlier and his latest post is about Pokemon Go. I thought it was a bit were he was inserting creatures that clearly weren't Pokemon into shots of the game. Some of these don't look like the Pokemon I've seen (particularly the first one). I don't actually play, so I don't know. So, these are real?
It is advised to not do anything until you hit level 20. Don't power up anything and try to only evolve the ultra common Pokemon. Save all of your stardust and uncommon and rare Pokemon candy. I evolved an Eevee from about 500 to 1400. I am now level 22. These are my top Pokemon.
Oh, damn. I thought they looked a looked a little too monstrous, but then a couple seemed plausible. Plus I haven't run across any computer generated stuff on his blog. I mean it's called Drawing Is Neat, so I think his whole thing is drawling. Totally had me going.
I hatched a 900 Lapras, powered it up (yes I know I'm not supposed to pre-20 but I did anyway) and ended up with a 1400 Lapras. I named it Pool Toy. It guards the train station now after I took down Bob324361346453545something and Poopygod231523stopitwiththenumbers
When the tracking system worked it was great... It stopped working... I dealers with t... Last 2-3 days I was using pokevision because they messed their shit up.... I would never of used it if it was a said tracker... Today's update took all the steps off... Yesterday they changed all farm spawns (I think all spawns theoretically)... Still fun... But bring the 3 step tracker back!
The update is really fucking me up. No tracker or anything. I'm headed to a park right now that is suppose to have a lot of Pokemon... Fuck it's hot outside...
Sucks that pokevision went down. Like you said ecko, I would not have used it if the actual game tracking system worked. The tracker is impossible without some sort of useful assistance. I mean I know that the Pokemons position changes in the nearby list based on proximity, but I walked around what seemed like a 1000meter square for 45mins and could not find this charmander. Definitely busted. With the update they seemed to have added and removed a bunch of pokestops as well.
How could they do an update and actually make things worse We were using PokeWhere as our tracking assist, but now it's down too, they say server issues but who knows. Niantic is really not handling this terribly well in quite a few ways
Welp, came back from the park after collecting 8 charmander and some other little goodies! Stupid tracker! But there were lots of nice people helping out which worked out just as well!
I chose Charmander to start, and have never even seen another on my nearby chart. Seen/caught 3 Bulbasaur, and 4 Squirtle. Even found a Wartortle though he escaped me.
I started off not knowing I could choose so I got bulbasaur lol I just evolved into Charizard with the charmanders I've collected. The park I went was about an hour away. Yes, yes, crazy, but I call it dedication! So far I've caught my Venusaur and Wartortle, but only 1 pikachu. Currently I'm at level 21 and need 52000 more experience points to get to 22. It's going to be a rough level 21. Been holding down a gym for about 18 hours now... Let's see how long that last.
Almost my story exactly. I've probably caught a few more bulbis and squirts though. Charmander remains very elusive. I guess it's our area.
