Pollen Kaiser DX

The reg has a red doll eye and the "chase" has a clear doll eye that looks red and has more depth because of the red paint underneath.

 

I thought since no one has posted pictures of the chase Pollen Kaiser from the TAG x Mandarake collab i would do so. Enjoy!









My first Kaiser and i must say it is MASSIVE in hand, adds a great depth to the collection. My camera skills do not do any justice to the detailing of the paint job and i can say that this is one of my favorite color way.

 

Got my devil man pollen today.....it is amazing, really adds some nice depth to the PK shelf.

****Do not make the mistake I made and turn the right arm to get in a nice position, within 5 mins of opening, already has a scuff on shoulder socket. Try to keep it as it comes out of the bag. I am not complaining, this was my fault.....just trying to help out others so it doesn't happen to them. I am 100% pleased with this purchase.*******

Sorry to hear about the scuff. Does anyone know if these were painted by Paul himself? I believe he uses v-color. It's very hard to scuff the paint off the vinyl. Either way sorry to hear that and thank you for the heads up.

Yes that was me that painted it and I use FOK sofubi paint which is basically the same paint as V-Color but comes straight from the manufacturer in industrial size volume. Sometimes the vinyl itself has a residue that needs to be wiped off or the paint won't stick perfectly, this may have been the case in this instance and is rare that it happens. I try to check over each toy multiple times while painting them to keep the quality as high as possible.

 

Just to be clear on this. I don't want to take away from this awesome release by talking about a little scuff.....that I cause to happen. The only reason why I wrote what I did was so others didn't turn the arms, causing it to rub against the socket, and in turn rubbing some of the paint off like I did. Dennis did a flawless job in my eyes, I actually can't get over how perfectly he did these. They really are amazing, so I just wanted to clear that up, because he deserves all respect due to him.

 

I got mine yesterday and my jaw hit the floor when I opened the box. This is my first PK PK and I knew it would be large, but I was not prepared for what a massive piece of sofubi this is! I had been considering a lot of the different color ways, but when TAG announced this one my decision was pretty easy. I think I have to track down the Devilman Bog when that releases to set next to this beautiful monstrosity.

The red details on the head around the eyes are probably my favorite aspect. The staff head is also just beautiful. Great blends of color. The whole piece has this mesmerizing unity.

Amazing Pollen Kaiser, IMO best colorway to date, another spot on paint app by Dennis (Baikin) and great price.

 

I hope there will be a blank red release.

Yep, one of the few of the one off first PKs was a red rub.
Way more intense work on that one. The whole figure painted red, then black rub.

I just received my personal red TAG release sample painted by Shirhama.

Must say, and many who have seen it also agree, it's by far the best Kaiser YET!
The metallics are downright masterful!

 

i did a rub on a GID PK and that took forever, but it looks SO good... Great textures... Kinda crazy that you have red ones youre working on Paul, plus this release.. And in some weird form of cosmic ESP... Many of us painted our PK red for the TAG show

 

I think I might like this more than the Devilman version. It's a slim might, but a might nonetheless.

 

Wish there was a picture of that Kaiser , just love the Red Rub Colorway on PK's toys, so simple but amazing how it brings out every single detail of the sculpt.
