AH!!! Thanks you! I've been looking for old school nostalgia music like that since I can remember! I would put up KROQ at KROQ.com but ONLY for the Kevin and Bean Talk Show from 5:30 am to 10:00 am. But you can just get the podcast.

Haven't really listened to the radio in about two years - been going through my music on iTunes at home and through my iPhone when I am out. I get a hell of a lot more of a selection and add new music when I can for a lil new something something.
KFJC saved my life in the late '70s. They played punk/industrial/new wave/independent stuff as it was happening. They're where I first heard of bands with names like "The Slits," "Throbbing Gristle," and "Gang of Four." They were also the first to host Dave Emory's "One Step Beyond" show, an alternate history/conspiracy research show that launched a thousand others. Thanks for the link, I've added the webcast to my bookmarks. These days I use the Radioshift app to listen to and record radio from around the world. I love Latin and African musics ... nothing like hearing them broadcast from the less-commercial stations in their actual regions of origin. Unfortunately most of the world is littered with super-commercial top 40 bubble gum or boring ultra-religious programming, but there's still a lot of real music out there too. Favorite local station is KQED. Big fan of Michael Krasny's "Forum" show.
rtr fm is an australian independent radio station completely listener funded. very rounded. Shows broadcasting everything from new directions in undeground electronic through to roots blues jazz noise metal latin indie local even an old organ show and all gamuts of current affairs talk. being upside down the shows are on at strange times for our northern bros and sisters which could make for interesting listening. Im not connected to the station just a fan.
