Thanks for the comments, fellas! Rather than derailing this thread any further, I'll start a new one in the American Idols section in a week or so once I've gotten a chance to photograph everything for my blog!
So many more great posts, Moog! Love the cutaways, keep 'em coming. (you too, Sanjeev, nudge, nudge). That museum exhibit looks incredible. I would just love to spend an hour or two wandering around the displays, and checking out the posters along the sides. Man, Japan is just plain awesome. I had not seen those 'display' boxes for the Mazinger jumbos either, they are wondrous! I wonder if anyone has repro'd them yet? Anything to go along with jumbo robots earns extra checkmarks and special stars from me.
