Well, 79's a good run. Listened to Landed twice today, the album on which HC really came to the fore as the leader of the group. Love his deadpan vocals and funny lyrics on that record... they don't get much notice for it, but Can really had a sense of humor. My brain just chose to invent a colorful animated sequence involving a smiling Czukay swimming through the cosmos to this tune: This is very sad news. It is some small consolation, though, to remember that Damo Suzuki is indeed immortal.
