FYI.....the chrome pirates and captains are not Pus releases. They are tributes (meaning BobbyD customs) to the Black Unknown Copper pirate.....the only chrome captain or pirate that was ever released by Pus.

Gotta love the flocked Skullwing in the bag  Flocked figures are such a frustration... they look great, and feel cool, but you just can't leave them exposed to the elements. There's alot of great pics in this thread... I don't like the sculpts, but there's no denying SB has done some awesome paints. I love the ones with the plush guts though...

well at least we know that no pus sculpts will be harmed in your customs projects. that's a slight relief to me anyway.

It takes balls to super glue rare toys to a vertical surface in the name of display uniqueness - ROCKS!!!

This is one of my favorite displays so far. Ever have problems with dust though?

They're certainly shiny, but the Pirate sculpt does nothing for me. Not to knock fans of it, as it seems quite popular... the modular variants and some of the Pus HPs are cool, but I just don't care for the sculpt.

If SB and thier sculpts don't do it for you, then you're definitely in the wrong thread buddy.

I was focusing on the aspects I do appreciate. Like I said, the sculpts don't really do it for me, but I have no qualms with SB collectors, and can still appreciate a well put together line-up of colorful figures. :)

Awesome shot Mutonismyfriend... the Obake I DO like! Does the body inside the teal-clear one glow? Are there any Obakes that also have a clear inside guy with the plush guts? That kill pretty much all of my SB birds with the same stone. :)

Carl, is there still a thread around of your SB collection on display at Meltdown? I looked but can't find it.

Love the Obakes! That's what originally pulled me into SB. At the time I started collecting all of the best Obakes were too pricey, and now that SB isn't the "hot shit" anymore I don't have any money to hunt down all the Obakes. I love seeing photos of them though - so many great ones in that shot, Carl!
And agreed on HMS's display - love how it's all out, easily accessible and in full light! So bright!
