Hey HyperP - how many of colroways of the SB Gotham are there? I have seen four so far. And where in the hell are they from? It says SB exclusive.

    Mark,
Yes, I have seen 4 too, and I think that there are probably no other colors besides those. Ramos probably knows more, but I think the toy was originally intended to be some free giveaway deal for some event, or anniversary commemoration between Gotham toys and SB...this might also explain why they seem like they are typically priced pretty low.

Have you seen the ones lined up at Billy's new store?

Well - if you look at my Avatar you will notice a little something that was there. Yeah that is why I am asking about them. I wanted to pick them up there but wasn't sure about them. The ones at Billys are loose and marked like Toyclub or something like that. I think he wants like $40.00 a piece for them.

I did pick up the two little glow Bomber kids he had also

Is this Billy's new store? is there a site? Can one of you take photos for me?

that toy you are talking about was made by 360 toy group/Rock Hard. Rock hard is a store and clothing company is japan owned by the guy that owns 360 toy group. This is his 3rd toy, all were made for official release, the secret base one was made for sale only at SB.

p.s. what is that toy head in the avatar? 12" inner head?

I was not sure where it came from (and Billy didn't know either) but I am sure it is based on a little bad 60's flick called Astro Zombies. I was wondering if it was from the store in Japan of the same name.

I can take some pics and send them to you later this week. That is is HP doesn't already have some. It is pretty small.

I just watched the movie Astro Zombies the other day. The skulls of the bad guys have 3 solar panel circles in the center of the forehead.

Dr. Tongue, that head is small but I see no 3 circles...

I didn't say it was an exact copy from the movies baddie. And I just might add - you just made me get up and seek out the DVD from my collection (which is no small feet) and compare. It is close enough for govrnment work okay? Sheesh! Lets just say it is "BASED" on the Astro Zombie character..........

I took a few pics after I cleaned the place out of the few SB pieces that I saw on opening night. The website is: www.moshi-moshi.com but the online ordering isn't up yet. The place is small and was packed to the gills on opening night. Some nice artwork by APAK graced the walls (among other artists). Nobody seemed very interested in the SB and Gargamel stuff in the display case; I scored a light green honey bee, and one of the neat capsule toys...looks like the skull bee, I think

Billy was handing out little gift boxes to people buying something that night. There were some neat things in there, including a nice patch with the logo for the shop---the head of a "kappa" (a troll-like creature from Japanese folklore that is fond of eating cucumbers, and has a depression in the top of the head which is filled with water. To conquer the kappa, one must succeed in spilling the water out from this dent in his head...)

now that I see that head in another photo I know what it is. It was made by SB last fall when the walder reissues came out. There were 2 random heads, a robot man(from the big microman toy) and this one with the brain out.

I just got this one in purple, but I have seen many colors of this one and the other. I took photos of the ones in the Henshin display at meltdown this weekend. I will post later.

Count you got some serious set up there. The Jarvis gear is really sweet to look over. So cool. What sort of risers do you have your in-crowd standing on?
Did you dig Harvey and Jubs and the Wrestlers once you got them?
Your SB collection is growing though Count and with some of the nicer pieces.

And Poppa, you got some nice SB and assorted gear kicking around too. Your set up is a little like mine. Although I have one cabinet, most of my collection spills out to where ever I can sit it.
