sounds interesting.. can't tell how much it would end up being per person for the Whole Pig menu. $55 per person + $375 for the pig but minimum $1,500 + 20% gratuity for the room??? wtf? i'm guessing $150 per person for 17 people which is rounded up for booze.
yeah, we should just order a whole pig, grab some brews and bring it to Super 7...! lol... btw, best Lechon in the city? Bay Area? http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=le ... _loc=94127
Why to Super7? Let's just party it up at your house! I like this place: http://www.yelp.com/biz/patio-filipino-san-bruno But I haven't had it anywhere else in the city.
I imagine you guys could buy a whole pig from a place in Chinatown fairly cheaply. Save you a ton of money...and don't tell me ambiance in a restaurant is worth $1500
I don't know if we can get a whole pig that is cooked in Chinatown (but then again it is Chinatown and you can get just about anything there...or so they say). At Incanto, do they server the pig with lechon sauce? That's the deal breaker right there if they don't
We get whole ducks all of the time, and the places we go also have whole pigs. We usually just get small amounts of the roasted pork, crispy pork skin is the best (no comments from the peanut gallery haha)
Don't know what kind of Chinese roasted pig you've been eating, but it's suppose to be cracklin also.
Yea. There's a difference between roasted and deep fried. I prefer the latter. We can always buy a big. But where we eating it at? *cough cough Kirkland's! cough* I think I'm getting sick.
