I am very excited to see these and can't wait to get a chance at adding them to the shelf. Super killer stuff Michael.
I have not been collecting new sofubi mainly cos I don't win the lottos, no problem I have been so much more excited about vintage anyways...but these sculps are amazing and I would be down in hunting these two down....love the slimebat, which is going to let me to ask what ever happen with that large vertion....was i dreaming that there would be a large slimebat ? ....
these are rad, looking forward to holding them.
i'd still love to do a full sized slimebat, who knows what will happen down the line!
been having fun painting these for factory paint masters, heres the flesh base , probably calling these the "blood" version. yellow and red sprays with handpainted yellow and red details
lookin good! im very happy about the size since i might start moving away from big toys
I'm really, really liking these. I love that you used simple sprays to highlight detail in the texture, rather than mass coverage and overly gory looks. Just the right amount of sprays to base ratio. The green versions are super rad, as well.
I like the plain flesh ones. I'd like a chance at a set if they ever came available.
Amazing work Michael any planned releases coming up?
I really love this new ones, great job love the paint job on then have fun in japan.
Fuggin' awesome color scheme, Michael!
Love these fellas, most notably in slime green. Congrats on your new toys dude
Chinese factories killing it! These look great.
Im going to have to get on these once they come around. Gotta get buddies for my slimebats.
here are the green vinyl base ones, still trying to figure out how to release these into the wild.
might do some that come with an extra head + arm, as opposed to two toy sets or separate individuals. not quite sure yet!
green vinyl with aqua and yellow sprays, green and white details
shooting for a march release with an undecided version, keep your eyes peeled
Damn Michael, those are stunners in the green vinyl! Very, very cool. I like the subtle painting and the blending with the blues. Pretty excited for when these come out. As for method of release, you will never please everyone, so my personal recommendation is to just go with your instinct and stick with that. No sense worrying in this hobby about pleasing the masses, 'cause let's be realistic, that is a Herculean feat. Anyhow, thumbs way up, keep up the excellent work.
^^^ Amen! They look awesome Michael!
There are two new toy releases in 2017 that I'm absolutely ecstatic over. This is definitely one of them. I just know these guys are gonna fit in perfectly on my shelves. An army of Slimebats await patiently with open arms.
Michael, I really like these a lot as they seem very representative of your art - a great translation. Its also apparent that a lot of thought and craft has gone into these, reardless of where they are made, and your window into the choices made and the creative process is both transparent and interesting. I'm excited to have one in hand and check him out in person.
The green ones are really cool!
just waiting on the factory paint samples, and then its full throttle. i might also have some hand paints at 5 points, havent really planned anything out yet though.
Lordy, those are beautiful. Very excited to see these in hand at Five Points(hopefully)!
These are looking great Michael. The Slime Green and GID Blue really pop so the painted versions are gonna be sick. I really appreciate you sharing how these came together, the backstory, production process, and the whole inside scoop shebang.
hey all, the factory paint samples have been approved and the flesh blood demons are up for sale now. I may also have some blank black versions at fivepoints if the mail is quick!
