So listening to some music the other day on the drive home, I come across the song "Skulls" by The Misfits. While not totally appropriate as a theme song for the board exactly, especially if one considers the final verse, I thought the connection was still amusing enough to mention. An excerpt: I want your skulls, I need your skulls, I want your skulls, I need your skulls. Demon I am and face I peel, See your skin turned inside out, 'Cause I've gotta have you on my wall, Gotta have you on my wall, 'cause, I want your skulls, I need your skulls, I want your skulls, I need your skulls. hee hee... just a random thought to share. And I wonder what you all think...
I thought so... ...considering that many of us do spend a lot of time and money getting skull brains to adorn our many-shelved walls...
Plus the "Demon I am and face I peel" line seems perfect. Of course the RFSO version might read, "Fighter I am and Brain you peel". I need to go home now...
Good idea, Plover! ^_^ Here is the whole song, in case anybody was interested: The corpses all hanging headless and limp, Bodies with no surprises, The blood drains down like the devil's rain, We'll bathe tonight... I want your skulls, I need your skulls, I want your skulls, I need your skulls. Demon I am and face I peel, See your skin turned inside out, 'Cause I've gotta have you on my wall, Gotta have you on my wall, 'cause, I want your skulls, I need your skulls, I want your skulls, I need your skulls. Collect the heads of little girls and, Put 'em on my wall. Hack the heads off little girls and, Put 'em on my wall. Whoa Whoa I want your skulls, I need your skulls, I want your skulls, I need your skulls. So it takes a wee bit of a left turn at the end as far as the toy collecting goes, but still a neat song and at least somewhat in the right direction. Anybody want to mod it a little to make it totally a RFSO anthem? Just a thought, especially with all of the creative-types around...
I think Mommy Can I go out and Kill tonight would have to be my favorite Misfits song, probably followed by Children in Heat.
Children in heat are young little kindle wood, I see'um burnin' They all changed their names to Chicago...
Hey, what about Pantaloon's rant set to the Black Flag crunch backing as I suggested elsewhere? As no one was into what I think is an amazing idea....howabout: a Village People type setup where we all sing about being hardcore while wearing mototcycle cop outfits, or wannabe gangsta outfits etc..... Add in a YMCA style hand signals to spell out RFSO and we are set: Verse 1: Young Bro, You don't need to be down I say, young mang You don't need to be down Because that Damage/Secreter/Ubiq Brain will surely turn up on YJ one day Chorus: R F S O Its fun to be into R F S O U can do anything that u wanna do just don't flip that 'brain etc......
