    So Crazy Japanese Toys book
    Picked up this book today called "So Crazy Japanese Toys!", maybe you have it or have seen it?

    Its got tons of amazing pix of japanese toys etc..
    some of mr. flynn's toys are featured.

    now i finally know the difference between miklas, garamon etc..

    If anyone is interested in a copy, I can get them on the cheap.

    ...and it was put together by Jimbo of the Ramones. It is a fun book, the publisher, Chronicle, has put out some interesting art titles.

    i think most of the toys from there are from mr. flynn's actually!
    some of the toys are mark magata's and bwana spoons' too...

    i think it came out a few months(or maybe a year) before the first issue of super7. is a pretty cool book.

    There is a follow up book that focusses on giant robots. i have that one, but can't remember the title. Chronicle Books again though and came out last year. It's pretty darn cool.

    That's Super #1 Robot. I highly recommend it. Check out:

    Not only does it have a really concise overview of the industry from the 70s into the 80s, the photography is excellent and the subjects are a mix of die-cast and vinyls.

    Yup yup. Super #1 Robot is a great addition to So Crazy Japanese Toys. Pick it up. You won't regret it.
