I wish I could take credit for the build/paint job. I have a very talented guy in Rochester N Y by the name of Charlie Bliss who builds all my stuff for me. All I told him was " make these look like they have been in space for along time and have had many encounters". Charlies fees for this work are quite reasonable for this quality of work. If anyone is interested in contacting him to build for them PM me.
Some seriously nice stuff, Bob. How do you keep dust off of them? Me, I run an air purifier and it works like a charm. No more dust bunnies.
Thanks Souky, The shelves have plexiglass in fronts, I have some that have been up for 3 or 4 years and have never had a spec of dust get inside. Are you able to enlarge these 2 photos on your computer by clicking on them?
Thanks Horse. You have a good eye to have picked the 2 best figs in the whole case, ie. Barrys and Margrets. Are you able to enlarge these 2 photos on your computer by clicking on them?
3 or 4 years without dust problems? I definitely have to get these shelving. It it possible for you to do a shot so I could get a better view of the shelves? If not, no problem. Thank you in advance. As for the pics - no. I tried clicking it, but the page came up blank. Only the 'close this window" prompt showed up. Could just be my computer though. I'm using Firefox.
Yo Souky, These are the BEST wall mount display cases I have found, though a bit pricy. They are very well designed and sturdy, made from interlocking extruded allum with black plastic end caps and sliding clear plexi fronts. Heres some picts. If you are interested I will post the contact info. http://www.bobconge.com/forum_images/Display%20case%202%20728.JPG[/img [img]http://www.bobconge.com/forum_images/Display%20Case%20CU%20.JPG
Thank you very much for the pics, Bob. They are indeed very nice, very similar to the ones in Heroes Club.
