I just want to make mention that spell check is/should be your friend. It would make my day so much easier if folks used it more often. At the very least it would make my day much less annoying. carry on.
I'm talking about looking at posts after you type them out among other things. your is much different than you're and it gives me a headache to read when it is used incorrectly. and that is only one example.
Thank you! I completely agree. A mistake here and there is one thing, but consistent poor spelling/grammar/punctuation is just irritating. I would like to think that most people here are pretty literate, so taking the time to look at what you write before hitting "submit" should take are of a lot of it (I hope).
I'm just joking around...but seriously if you don't know, double check. it's not that hard to do...especially if firefox does it for you,etc.

1. I always used to love checking out the last page of Consumer Reports that was dedicated to the oddball/ghastly typos, etc. that made their way into print. Just yesterday I read a national ad that claimed a product was part of a "limited addition." 2. Texting is the scourge of literacy, i.e. "Yo, my girl just tex-ted me." Tex-ted?!? Is that real? 3. Where can I get one of RC's super-deluxe Swine Flu maskeses for my avitar?
