I got to work with the awesome Steve Seeley for his new show at Rotofugi "All We Ever Do Is Fight." http://www.rotofugi.com/gallery/artists/seeley2012.asp The show will have Pearl Blue and Pearl Pink Bear Fighters, and Primer Grey Bear and Horse Fighters. I'll have my own colors of both figures including Pearl Yellow and Pearl Green Bear Fighters and glow in the dark. all we ever do is fight by Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, on Flickr bears by Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, on Flickr And early Primer casts of Bear and Horse Fighters. primer grey by Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, on Flickr

I like em' they're fun. The childish side of me wants the horse guy to be named DonkeyPunch. Cool figs.
Haha. Did you see the jeopardy donkey punch answer? These were a lot of fun. The blue and pink pearl bears sold out at the opening at Rotofugi last night.
Thanks Bryan, I had a lot of fun with these and was really glad I got to work with Steve, I love his paintings and style. Been playing around with the Horse Fighter mold after I finished up the primer grey horses that Steve will be releasing. The pearl yellow is my favorite but no one else's apparently. lol That orange set seems to make people love or hate it. I was really glad Ben let me go with a pearl for the orange.
I scored 5 of these dudes: -Solid White Horse Fighter -Translucent/Pearl Purple Bear Fighter -Translucent/Pearl Orange Horse Fighter -Translucent/Pearl Bear Horse Fighter -Silver Glitter/Translucent Blue Bear Fighter and I couldn't be more pleased. These are some of the coolest toys ever! They look 10x more amazing in person. I should really take some pics of my entire GJMB! collection. I might have one of the biggest.
Will get one soon definitely!! At first I thought I liked the bear head the most but know, not really sure why, I like the horse more.
I'm really partial to the bear, and its not just because the Horse and I fought the whole time I was making his mold. Steve did a great job with the sculpt connecting the bear head to the fighter body. However it was the peak of the cherry blossoms yesterday... Cherry Blossoms by Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, on Flickr Ben has few figures that were never up for grabs, but he's still missing quite a few. There are some skeletors I would love to have back at this point.
Took a few toys out for some sun today on a visit home Fighting Dandelions by Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, on Flickr Night out by Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, on Flickr A Day Out by Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!, on Flickr
bears eat horses for breakfast. though i admit, horsies pack a hell of a roundhouse kick. proud bear owner right here
I think the bear head just organically works really well with the figure. Steve's additional sculpting just blended the head onto the body so well that it looks like it was some bootleg fighting figure from back in the day. I still love the horse, but the bear just brings a smile to my face.
