Pretty sure the writing on the Sufes tags say "Potatora" and "Hamburgara"
    very cool.

The Japanese tags do say that and I prefer those names. But on K2TOY site and Black Seed site, they list the names as "french fries dragon and "hamburger dragon".

I saw that. Probably because of licensing. If that's the case, maybe we'll only see them at shows with the one day Licenses. Hope not. I really like 'em. "banana yokai" is also neat.

    Thanks Andy as always.

I want that M1 book something fierce. Looks like one of the better shows in the last few years. All the stalwarts brought the heat.

I still don't understand the ultra-realistic- detailed toys.
And please, stop with the skulls, skeletons and two-headed toys.
And please stop w the Dungeons and Dragons crap.

Note, I say that w the the fact I played D&D and own Citadel, Grenadier and Ral Partha.

agreed and also truly despise how you have to go through twitter, instagram, facebook, etc, etc, etc, etdc, to learn about the next new thing.

IF ANYTHING, and after 5+ years on the board, patience is key.

I don't think it's a M1 book per say. Although imagine a book that has every M1 toy in it?! I'd buy that book, or you can just look at Kaiju Hoarder's insane M1 collection in the meantime.

Anyhow I think it's a bit of a Ultra Q/ Ultraman scrapbook thing:

...please, for the love of all that is holy, may this trend die.

At this point the only two-headed toy I want to see is a toy where both arms are holding clubs and bashing the other head in some kind of Siamese twin sibling fight.

I understand it quite well. I honestly hated super simplistic toys with a passion growing up. So im quite comfortable with what is being released however that's not to say you wont get your idea of simplistic toys with minimal paint jobs in the process of waiting throughout the years.

But however i do see both sides of the situation so im not without understanding of where other ppl may be on this topic.

The foodie toys are so cute. I wonder if Amapro will make the shrimp tempura available? Right-hand corner! Looks like at least three flavors of battered shrimp, and what are those veggie things???

Not sure really. Could be something new or it could just be decoration for the shrimp pieces.

Looks like an antipasta or chutney, but since these are Japanese toys, I don't think so ;)

Ah thanks Chris. That is cool but yes, I would piss myself over a comprehensive book with all the toys Yuji has made to date.

Do you think the fried shrimp will be available for order? They really are cute. And I also need to track down a Chima Crab Croquette.

@Mr. Humphreys He is already available in this color and in a golden colorway, you should contact Mr Amapro himself on Instagram.

I think 'real' is actually part of the plastic food industry in Japan, which is an incredible art and history all unto itself.

MAN, how did I miss the Potatora and Hamburgara the first time around?! Those are so wonderful, and exactly the kind of fun thing I like to see. No overthinking it or playing to any trends. Get some excellent classic kaiju, play with your own idea of creation, mashup some some concepts to come up with something unique and bizarre, and best of all, throw some puns in there, and you've got a recipe to make one pleasing toy for me.
