Chrome doesn't like it either and I'm at home as well.

Interesting that the board was hacked.

Reminds me of of some years back when I set up a extra windows server at work to play around with. There wasn't a firewall in place and some Germans (no offense to any German's up here) somehow found it and started dumping pirated films and software on it, basically using it as their pirate site.

Also, I think KR was hacked a couple years ago.

I don't understand german so it was all completely useless to me.
But then I'm probably the biggest pirate on this board. And I don't mean weight wise.

I thought SB went down because of maintenance. That's what Brian and Glenn said on twitter...

    Did you get the memo?

    'Skullbrain Website Issue''

    Hello Skullbrainers,

Last night someone added malicious code to the BBS. We have moved the Skullbrain message board to a new host. Fortunately we had already scheduled to move the board on Monday so a new site is already up and running free of any malicious code. Since DNS severs can take as long as two days to propagate you might need to use the following IP address to find the board: http://67.23.33.184/bb just typing in skullbrain.org might not work for you at this time.

Our webstore is also in the process of being moved and may be buggy over the next couple of days. Please be patient with us while we get this worked out.

We are not sure how the site got hacked. We were planning to move the bbs to a new site and change the new dns on Monday. I think we might have opened ourselves up to the attack preparing for the move.

In the end the code they added modified the theme not the underlying bbs software and it doesn't seem to do anything. So I think we are all good.

    Sorry for the downtime.

    I blame the borg.

Had that happen at the University print shop that I worked at a while back; the whiz kids in the dorms hacked every open unix server (we were upgrading) they could find and loaded in movies and tunez, started serving 'em out. Wouldn't have been bad but at the time a lot of the equipment had 4-6 gig antique drives. Couldn't print workbooks for the little scrotes classes because we were choking to death on "Mama's House". God.

Hey Glenn or Josh... anyone who can help-

JAY is still having trouble with the site. He cannot establish a connection to the Skullbrain site. Kaiju Taro is affected in the same way. But he has unaffected access to other sites. He says that it just seems to be kaiju related sites.
I sent him the new IP addy but that didn't work either. CANNOT ESTABLISH CONNECTION.
    Anyone have advice or....

Maybe start by trying to access the sites from another computer like from a library or something. This would isolate the problem to his computer or internet provider if he can get through on a different computer.

I am guessing it's not a country issue as those in the UK are getting through.

Good idea. I know he is looking for a quick fix to get back on asap. But, I'll ask if he has access to another computer.

I would suggest running ad-aware on your machines, as I did this over the weekend and found 19 malicious files.

Not saying it's site specific, but it can't hurt to run it.
