I too am surprised at the seeming lack of fanfare... I've seen a few specific pics from a few specific places, mostly the RxH stuff, but not much else.
Yea, was hoping to see some SF50 pics from KT but guess not. Only ones I've seen are from here: http://pink.ap.teacup.com/kadomiumtank/
It's always nice to see a new Chicken Fever release, Chicken Fever releases being relatively rare, and I guess flesh blanks appeal to many, but given that there are so few Chicken Fever releases, I wish there had been a painted release to accompany the fleshies. These are way too much fun! This is stunning!
Holy...that thing is nuts. Look at the body language of the person in the picture. They're tense, defensive because that thing looks like it's effing alive and hungry. -- jJ
No Rainbow, I don't think they do SuperFest (I haven't seen them there, at least). I didn't see KT at the event at all, I don't really know what they're up to. A new Kai-Zine came out a month or so back, but I haven't seen them at shows in a while. There wasn't much in the way of media coverage this time around. The pink guy is Kaiju Gyo, from an old Kazuo Umezu comic, and its seriously AMAZING. I saw it at Wonderfest in the summer, but it didn't look like any pictures made it out from there. Had to put in my pre-order for it yesterday, should be coming out at the end of October!
I wondered which were the CCP exclusives listed on KT. CCP blog has just updated pics of its booth, and the Spectreman & Dustman displayed just seem the earlier releases and not special versions. Found pics of Yamomark booth too. Thanks for confirming about Rainbow, Velocitron. Did you have a booth yourself ? How was it ? And I don't know if it is just me but it feels like KT has slowed down a lot those last months...
Great set-up Ricky love the box of Deadly Spawns. The new Blobpus mash-ups are looking like they could cause some trouble and that Kusogon color-way is a must have.
It's called Gekko. They come in unpainted blue or yellow and cost 3000yen. Hahahaha...sorry JoeMan. I just had to do it. From what I heard, this is the company's first release but I can't remember the name of the company. It's a little taller than a Mutant Evil so...a pretty great deal.
Only the yellow unpainted was released, not the blue. The maker is called kikkake and Gekko is the first of his Natural Guardian Angel series.
They are really cool. I wish I had one. It must be tough being a new dealer. You sit there all day with one product and you know there's a chance that no one will buy it, but you just keep moving on because you've already overcome one of the bigger hurdles in making the toy. Now it's just a matter of selling it. I hope this guy does well cause this toy is just great.
I love seeing the table full of the US Toys figs. Loved it even more seeing it in person and buying some last year. I just wish they'd do a JJ figure. That thing would be awesome. -- jJ
