I wasn't able to purchase anything because there are way too many events coming up but I did share the link with a couple people who were looking for specific items! Hope you guys manage to sell everything! Good luck with the rest!
The remaining pieces are available via the webstore. I don't know if it was from the show, but that Marusan Ebireon ('shrimp monster') is a nice one. I think the only other way to get that version would be to buy the Tederos DVD set in Japan, which includes the figure.
It's a shame the Cop-A-Squat toys got split up, it would have been nice as a set. The turquoise/lapis/magenta/silver-barnacled Namazu is also a nice one
Interesting to know that! Has it got the same paint? We were thinking it may have been an exclusive for SVM2.. We were going to shut down the shop earlier this week but we are getting orders here and there so it's open for the next little while.
THANK YOU to whoever bought that Science Patrols catfish. I was literally just about to buy it. I'm supposed to be on toy probation, and you just saved me from feeling a ton of shame. I'm surprised by some, not surprised by others. I think at least one maker (though I do admit they are talented) values their own work a little more than it's worth. ...which is sad, because if their stuff was more affordable, I would bite.
I think it is the same figure. The solicitation mentions it being an Australian exclusive; I think they held back a few for sales with the DVD in Japan.
^^^Thanks for another video Glenn! Nice to see the toys again from a different perspective. Looking forward to Soft Vinyl Mayhem 3!
No sweat!! I'm glad you got a kick out of watching it - still gotta work on another turnaround video but I'll save that for the Show Your Collection thread
Most of the artists have been revealed for September's show.. couple of surprises to be revealed later.. Having 30+ artists last year was too much to handle for us - especially behind the scenes so for SVM3 we cut down the numbers a bit. Hopefully it ends up being a more focused show with clearly defined spaces for each artist this time around. View this post on Instagram
OWL? Are you talking Otus OWL? And heck yeahhhhh, Science Patrol! I swear, everything they release is just so much fun.
We have 5 mystery artists that we will reveal over at the softvinylmayhem insta later this week.. one returning artist and four who have never exhibited with SVM before if you've even considered a flight over to the show in the past, you might want to start looking at ticket prices for this one..
Starting to post some preview photos online over at the softvinylmayhem instagram.. going to try and post something every day in between now and the exhibit. Here's a sample of the goods.. Anybody want a t-shirt covered in friendly sofubi faces? Like with SVM2 last year, we wanted to make a souvenir item for attendees and especially for people who can't travel to the exhibit. I'm making these to order and they will be up for grabs for the next 24 hours or so here - http://badteethcomics.bigcartel.com View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram
