Keep us updated. This is amazing. I really want to see how this turns out. Your Bemon piece is fantastic as well!
I really like these a whole lot! Very nicely done. I did mine a month apart, I couldn't imagine having two swollen hands.
More excellent tattoos! Those back of the hands are great solid traditional. And both in one sitting? Dammmmmmmn! And I can't wait to see that Gezora piece colored. Very cool.
ask him about the tattoo on the palm of his hand...that's dedication! is it still there scott? (those look great btw)
blurry pic: looks a bit less awesome now, some of the ink fell out.. its now a bottomless cup of coffee which in and of itself is still awesome
i remember seeing that and asking how you got the lines so straight with a marker. I really thought you drew it on.
YEA! One of the most solid palm tattoos I have seen healed. Had to have smarted a bit. But a bottomless cup o' joe would be worth it.
I have a few... Kirkland has really good pictures of mine that I've never seen, but here is my newest acquisiton. The bottom half of my legs are all star wars. I start on the imperial side in 6 months.
damage-B, that's a hard act to follow! But I decided to be productive today as well... represent, motherfuckers!
I got a pretty nice one done in 1987 by Greg Kulz when he was considered one of the Bay Area's up-and-coming originals. He was best known for a Gigeresque organic machine sort of look, although the design he modified for me was more like an Art Noveau illustration with psychedelic influence. It looked great for a few years but the original fluorescent colors have vanished completely and the black work has blurred enough that I have to explain to people what they're looking at. Perils of getting fine-line work done! No regrets, though. Only that I don't have more tattoos. Maybe I'll post a photo at some point so you guys can laugh at me for not thinking ahead better.
