The dvd came out this week. I saw the doc. more than a year ago at the sf indie film fest. Check it out, it is such a great film.
I knew Daniel way back before a bunch of douche fucks made him the local freak show.. hes a pretty fucked up dude. so much fun to play with, so easy to discard when he gets 'difficult'. fucking assholes. i hate the music scene.
I like his music. I really feel sorry for him though. The dude is fucked in the head and people just want to use him.

yes hes a very overweight and unhealthy like 50 year old man. I knew him alittle before he got 'famous'. He worked at a macdonalds near my house and was always trying to give me tapes and stuff.
In the book I read, it said he was always giving away tapes to people but didn't want anyone to ever review them in magazines. He played in San Diego a number of years ago at the same bar the Nerdquake party was at. I missed out on seeing him though because there was zero promotion for it. I'm hoping he gets better so I can see him play some day.
yeah poor guy. theres a toy coming out of his frog character that was on display at comicon, but I dont think it works that well in 3d. how about a kozik version?
