That looks great for a Core class. This upcoming TMNT collaboration looks fun: https://news.tfw2005.com/2024/03/27/tmnt-collab-first-look-507334
Well, I'm probably biased because I love the character so much, but it's great! A wonderful update. I've been disappointed with most modern TFs in general, but there's still fun ones out there. Glad I got it!
I was at a store a couple of weeks ago that had a big lot of loose toys on the floor being sorted. The new Inferno was in there and I got to handle it, it's a really fantastic figure. Seconded on the Rampage idea, I hope they do make him, too, but only as a Commander class or bigger. I have my 40th Anniversary Soundwave on my desk and I can't stop playing with it. The fact that they retooled it really makes the purchase worth it, provided you're okay with the animation-style colors. It's much more solid and sturdy than the Chinese reissues they've done over the past decade and a half. I decided I'm selling my Soundwave eBay bootleg and my 40th Blaster/Steeljaw, so if anyone is interested, send me a PM.
Not sure who collect hot wheels transformer new releases, but it sold out in minutes? Mattel exclusive!!! It just delivered and let me know if you have extra one? Thanks
I was very excited about the hot wheels Optimus Prime until I found out the retail on it was $80. Then it was an easy pass. Missing Link Convoy with trailer was only $40-50 more; if the Hot Wheels Optimus had been $25-$40 I would have considered it.
I feel like I am one of the few people not on board with Missing Link. The old toys were designed that way by necessity. To update the articulation, but leave the design the same is weird. They end up looking like marionettes. $80 for the Hot Wheels Optimus is insane. I also thought it would be more in the $25-ish range.
I actually agree! But I don’t happen to have an OG, so it was either the missing link or a reissue of the og. What sold me was the integrated fists! I don’t care so much about articulation.
I can’t imagine the missing link convoy will take the place of my reissue from 2000, heck I may not even open the missing link (he’s still in my pile of loot at bbts) but it wasn’t something I was willing to pass up. The Diaclone era car robos are still my favorite toys of all time. I may be buried with my G1 Optimus Prime and Tracks toys. They mean a whole lot to me.
I agree about the ridiculous pricing on the Hot Wheels Optimus, but something tells me that they were forced to price it that way by Hasbro. I'm amazed that collaboration happened at all. Regarding the Missing Link Optimus, I like the idea of being able to pose the toy to match the painting on the box, but I never go for the heroes or straightforward car designs. Give me some Missing Link Dinobots or Insecticons. Speaking of which, I recently picked up these: View this post on Instagram Also, what the fuck happened here at 16:12?
