I think you're reading into it too much as to what bryce was saying. It was more of a scratch your head moment as to why would you rate a TV show premiere better to going out and having fun on your birthday even if it's low key. B-day is a once a year event over a tv show that you could probably watch anytime. At least that's what I got out of what was said.... Speaking of WD, I could not help but go online and read synopses of all the remaining episodes. All it did was wet my appetite without giving too much away. Good stuff happening that's for sure.
Enjoy birthday's before kids. Once you have kids, you lose your birthday. But once they're a certain age it's cool because you get home made cards that rule. Walking Dead themed Birthday, there, 2 in 1 dude, now get double pumped!
^^^ Exactly my point Chris and Jeff. Thanks. I mean...you can always wait up till it appears on Itunes and watch like Chris does but bdays only happen once a year. Life's too short.
That didnt sound like your point but nice assist and nice save. You've got it right BloodDrinker, after kids your oppurtunities are limited, but those home made cards make up for a lot. Having more than my share of children I've got them in Batman, Godzilla, Zombies, Snakes, Hobbit, Pushead, GI Joe, Robot and Unicorn forrms amoung others. They are more precious to me than any vinyl. Kids are a pain in the ass as well as awesome. I read some of the early WD comics, I didnt care or them and so wasnt intreted in the show. But when my 13 year old comes to me all excited saying how awesome it is and actually asks me to watch it with him. Thats a whole different ballgame. Now enjoying it immensly and building good memories. Whats cooler than that?
Oops. Didn't realize that I needed to have my posts approved by you. Gotta love anonymous board members who hide behind their computers and troll forums. Keep up the great work though!!! If you have time today you should go through all the threads and check for sarcasm because I'm sure new posters need some good old anonymous defending. And back to the Walking Dead.
Nope, you needed just not to be a dick and read what your replying to more carefully. Your also the only one that was being defended, did you miss that too? Sarcasm you got down irony not so much. Eat some brains.
sorry, didnt know i would stir the pot so much! dont worry, i will go do something on my b-day, ive just never been big on b days and celebrating them.. there are plenty of other things that i get more enjoyment out of in life than celebrating my birthday. as for the 'stare at the screen' comment, i watch no TV (no time). WD is the only exception. (cause its that awesome)
Where online can I stream season 3? I'm at the prison at the end of 2 and I need to see what happens.
Can't help you with online viewing. And maybe you don't have cable, so this may not be helpful- but, AMC is having a season 3 marathon leading up to the new episode tomorrow.
I'll stay away from this thread till the early hours of Monday 2/11 when iTunes let's me download the episode. I've actively sought out spoilers online and could only get a vague synopsis of the remaining 8 episodes, and believe me I'm a hardcore searcher of things! Good job AMC keeping a lid on things for a change!
Can't wait for it as well (although I'll be watching it tomorrow) I am curious to see what direction they will take after season 3. I follow the comics but can't wait to see what happens next.
Those synopsis got me pumped even though they were pretty vague! I've been know to spoil things for myself. I wonder what episode we'll see the Rick/Gov confrontation.
Well this is weird- Apple didn't send a email nor is episode 9 available for download? Anyone else have this problem that bought a season 3 pass?
Yeah I got the email today while at school. Maybe they had to wait for AMC or maybe someone at Apple was asleep at the wheel? Anyhow did watch it on PFTV this morning. More in depth analysis later, overall ok but a little bit of the ol' giant plot hole thing going (probably due to time constraints of story lines) i.e. Daryl just says: Spoiler fuck everyone I'm going with my redneck brother even though he tortured my friend Glenn and almost killed him. EDIT: I was going to list some complaints (mainly at the haphazard way the writers give the characters no continuity in their actions what so ever) BUT The Atlantic sums it up for me: http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainmen ... ng/273017/
Spoiler Glad to see Daryl and Merle back with the group. I wonder how the dynamic will work now that Merle has joined the group.. Will be interested to see where Rick takes the group from here. Also too bad about Axl. RIP
Ehhhh the best part was the driver of the zombie truck looked like one of the bikers from Mad Max. Silly Rick going outside the fence with 3 rounds in the Python. Doh!
