more 3d printed madness from my mate, 18 in tall 28in long mecha goji. I really have no space for it and visitors just laugh at the size of it.

CUPCO had a show recently with a ton of new work. I spied this Baltan on IG and was lucky to nab him. It's the first time I've ever had the nerve to "inquire" with a gallery cold without the piece being in a web shop. I don't know why exactly, but it's always been intimidating. Like, if your pockets ain't super deep, don't come calling, chump.

He did a bunch of Akira characters for the show too.

Pretty challenging to photograph, due to reflections, (it is also super detailed but I lowered the res to post it) but it is a painting by Stefano Ronchi (https://ronch.co.uk/) - this is one of two paintings he did of The Thames barrier, with his surrealist approach. Makes me think of a Thames based kaiju...

Book of "night light" GID paper dolls. Sadolar is pre-assembled and taped to the front. Love the packaging for these—a barely-stitched stack of newsprint-weight sealed envelopes. I have a similar set with Jack fighting Arstron on the cover, except it contains bromide-type cards. I resisted opening that one in the past, but when I saw Zazahn peeking through, I caved. It looks like there are three copies of each of the 10 monsters included. I want to say that they're all reprinted in a recent-ish mook? I think I recall seeing one.

I ordered a pair of CDJ's and a DJS 1000 as well... The idea is to recapture some youth/have a hobby to share with my daughter... I might throw down for a 1200 just to mix in vinyl and get digital copies of my extensive vinyl collection...

Got this for the box art. Inside is an 8mm film melted all to hell presumably of the Gyango episode from Ultraman.

You get 'em Ultraman. Never mind the civilians in that building.

Bit of a left field purchase for me but I just thought the Arsham Hot Wheels collab was cool so snagged the Rodger Dodger.

I was very tempted, but would've wanted the carry case and all the rest of the cars . . . and thats a rabbit-hole I don't want to go down.

As an aside Arsham has a bunch of stuff on display, just down the road (from us, a little further for you), at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

@Anti Social Andy yeah I get you. Part of my reasoning for going for this one and not the Porsche was that if I got the case I’d have wanted the full set. Thankfully the little display case is quite nice so I can settle for just the one.

that’s ace. I’d love to see some of his stuff in real life. Sculptures in particular never translate well in just photos. Need to see them to understand the scale properly.

These are really great I love the crystal concept, I wonder how they keep these sculptures safe?

The Spaceman and Kuwaraha ET BMX are both 1:1. Pikachu is about 5' tall and the head must be 10'-12' high. His technique and detailing translates perfectly across all the differing scales.

The park is in the grounds of an old stately home. It's relatively out-of-the-way and I'm sure there's a night-watchmen and/or monitored security.

There are also a few Damien Hirsts around, and a few years ago KAWS took it over without any incident of theft or vandalism.

Sad about the presence of Hirsts ‘art’ or that no one had a van big enough to steal a KAWS?

That's my stock response to 'Would sir like pineapple or egg with his gammon?' . . . and whenever offered a choice of desserts.

Picked up this cute Kappa drawing from Nerfect aka Mr. Walters on Etsy. The cucumber is a little disturbing. It's supposed to be Mr. Potato Head-like, but seems like a sex doll?

^ ^ ^ A precious Kappa drawing, Blake. Cucumber's ribbon is a nice, sexy touch.

TikiCo cannot be stopped. Aquarium "ornament" in the vein of old Penn-Plax, along with (random color) bonus little tree ornament (on left). You'll rarely encounter anything so well packaged for international shipping, or a friendlier artist!
