    Agreed, it is such a killer family. David knows well my pain and happiness this arrival simultaneously brings. Those are some incredible Buta toys all, well hunted. Just coming away with one from that lot would be a massive accomplishment, but this is like an apenoid Christmas and birthday all in one! Lovely man, and many thanks to the generous soul who made this possible for you.

    I totally lucked out, Brent. I guess the plastiverse wanted me to land something that rivaled your recent Goji adoption.

    So a gorilla is a hominid, right? Oopsie.

    EDIT: So I'm not sure that I'll be able to bring myself to consistently add notifiers like @evom and @ultrakaiju to my posts, but I'll try.

    I just picked one of these up (I blame your photos, badteeth)... couldn't pass up a semi-repro of the legendary Hawaii Garamon. At least until I find a vintage one in someone's grandma's basement.

    @badteethcomics Thanks for the info on Instagram. I did some hunting around after that, and it looks like the solid version was from a Bullmark lucky bag sold back in winter 2014. The clear green one is newer and was sold at February Wonderfestival this year.

    Just received these two, first time I'm disappointed with a sunguts toy. The floral print on the Nezumi-otoko clothes are simple stickers (wich come off)...

    Babyface or old man, it is a tough choice.

    The stickers are a real shame, I can understand why it comes as a surprise and a bit of a disappointment. Still a very nice looking toy of course, but using stickers on this calibre of toy is unfortunate, and in general I dislike them for their lack of permanence; as you rightfully pointed out, sometimes they peel/get easily damaged/wrinkle/etc., all of which is detrimental to the toy's appearance and cannot be remedied. Sunguts is usually very good too, so I wonder why this decision was made? Anyways, I hope they are of high quality and stick around for you for the toy's life.

    I've had issues with stickers with new toys. You can take a hair drier (eternal savior) and warm them up enough so the glue becomes tacky again to stick. Just use a traditional drier and not a heat gun so the sticker doesn't get damaged. Works for me.

    A lot of times they automatically peel especially with releases in the past few years. They work in theory but I haven't seen them last on vinyl.

    Thanks all for the your advice, I will try the air drier technique (the indispensable accessory Collector), and yes I don't understand why Sunguts use this cheap solution given his high quality requirement. The worst is that I paid a lot for this rare toy (12.000 yen)... Life is a I FART A LOT.
