The "What you just got in the Mail" Thread

I need to get these one day, Sunguts Yokai and Obake are really quite charming. The Karakasa Obake is great, I think it just was released.......

Also love the Chochin and Hitotsume Kozo- all are spot on and its nice that Sunguts is never exploited like other Japanese toy lines

 

So, what are the three black guys with the same bodies? Not talking about The Fat Boys, btw

Oh right. I was thinking it started with a 'Dia' but that's about as close as I got.

 

@ultrakaiju Thanks for the info, I did not know the character and I found out he was from a book :"Sekai no kaiju". Very interesting.
@kichigai The Karakasa Obake in GID will be release at the yokai festival in Osaka in august. I will try to have one. There is another maker who made a karakasa who looke like Sunguts style but don't remember his name.
@Odibex They are from the Sunguts yokai set, there are at least 6 of these little black yokai plus the bigger yokai and others folkloric characters.

 

I did not know that! I can't seem to find an illustration of him, though. Nor can I find anything on the Sunguts yokai set. i gotta find myself a more accessible hobby!

About Sunguts it's really hard to find informations about this maker, there are not a lot of collector of these stuff outside of Japan.

Thanks for the link. It does mention Dagigon, but I still don't see any representation of the two-headed, four armed beast we know from the Dagigon toys. Oh, well.

Those are wonderful vinyl building sets. Man I ran over to slavexone quickly to see if any were available. All sold out. The pricing is just great. $15 for 2! I hope they make more building styles. What a great fun idea.

 

As per @toothaction's request. Never mind the stainy shelf, that's sh*it's high up in a closet, so I don't even see it. Well, until now, that is
