I have no idea what those are but they are fantastic! So much character in the sculpt and the paint work.

 

These Space Trooper versions are still the best imo. Great find, buddy!

 

That's cool. I'm assuming that they were sold separately considering there wasn't an accompanying figure and there's a pretty hefty price on the original price tag.

 

Thanks, guys! Space Troopers are some of the first sofubi I got really into. I had about a dozen of the guys back in the day and regret ever having gotten rid of them. I've learned from a lot of past toy mistakes... Like hating on mashups. How can you hate on mashups when they produce wonderful results like this charming little fella:

I would love to gain back one or two Troopers in this lifetime. They're one of the best sofubi out there that resonate to me.

That's a cool mashup, man. I dunno, but "Unicorn Gundam" just automatically came to mind. Make that Psycho Mode

I still don't know how I managed to end up with one of these. I missed Saturday's raffle at Dcon and Sunday my luck was no bueno.

Yeah, the landlord raised the rent on them so they decided to get the hell out of Dodge. I think the first two weeks of December everything was 30%, then 40% the next week, and finally 50% the last. They had a huge backstock in the back too and were pulling things out to sell as they would go thorough it. My best pickup from it had to be the Rider-1 colorway Hone Borg and Kikaider colorway Mad Head Barbariman still in bag for $20 a piece. A friend of mine picked up a Pollen Kaiser for $80. Needless to say I was extremely jealous.

 

That hone borg is one of my favorites. Nice score.

 

What a shame. Their mission store is so small. Can't believe I missed such a big sale at that spot. I live out in the bay area but had a crazy busy couple of months.

 

Technically I cheated and only showed was WAS arriving in the mail......so, I guess now I can actually post what DID arrive in the mail.



The best part about this is that it shipped out on Tuesday and arrived earlier today while I was at work.

 

This almost makes up for the complete shit day today was. Almost. Either way this guy is so fucking cool. Look at that SUIT.
