A couple from my last package, some vintage and some silliness today:
What's that little dude, second from left?
The second and third are Kinokeshi. Don't know squat about them yet, just liked their "Swept Away" look. Very awesome little guys, to me.
New favorite thing:
Kusogon rocks. Long live beaK x Target Earth.
TYVM to J, P and Mr.S.
@poysntixels What dinosaur, and who is the maker?
Appears to be some form of titanosaur and the maker is unknown and unmarked (to me or the seller). Sorry for the crap phone pic, but yea, imgur works. NB: He has black toenails and was evidently stored in a toy box because he is covered with fine, tiny crayon scuffs. Looks kind of like a really impossible turquoise Harris tweed. He is a little over 24" long.
Thanks. It's unusual to see a sauropod model with the neck and tail fully extended, so I was curious.
Been a long long time since I could actually say mail day....Sorry for the crap quick pics:
Fark, that's quite the mail day right there. Beautiful acquisitions.
♪ Seven, Seven, Seven!!! ♫
The whole group is great but that Ultra Seven mug super owns.
I'm happiest on the Buta Gara, but the Toygraph Gamera and red Kubiryu are very close seconds!
Yeah I have @toothaction to thank for that. Ever since he posted a link for those Ultraman plates, bowls, mugs etc a few years back I've been hot on the trail to find a mug or bowl by that artist Taku Yoshimizu. I just happened to look on m-78 for a Ultraseven toy and saw it. I posted better pics, using my new macro lens here:
@Lixx - Wonderful scores. Love the milky head Ultra Seven. That cup is cute.
a treasure box of pure magic!
Arrived last week, and I think it's going to be my fave of 2017!
Space Ace by Hracka
SO GOOD! first time seeing this little dude
Unfortunately it was a hot item for re-sellers and directly after the Festival it was appearing on certain retail sites and Yahoo Japan Auctions for over triple the original price!
Just got my Elegab lottory in:
I think you have a Kanegon problem and I am willing to help.
That's a real beauty @rattanicus, one of my favorites versions!
I really like to see his guts
That clear Hedorah is super fresh, not much tint on it too!
I got some mail yesterday. I'm primarily posting to say that these particular ORMcaptains look very different than they appear in pics. In short, a lot more glittery and the colors muddier and a lot less distinct. I'm happy with it, just, not quite what I was expecting. And it's awesome these guys stand (?) a lot more erect than the regular Pirates and Captains. I feel bad for those guys perpetually staring at the floor. Er, deck.
The Todori seems to be based on a prehistoric bird I forgot already. It's got a weird 1/8" lip where the body meets the head which I imagine would present some painting challenges, but I don't mind at all. It'd take more than that to ruin this guy.
